Midnight Sky: Waning Crescent Moon
"You're what?!"
Ms. Choi shrieked, her high-pitched voice echoing through the whole studio room. It was loud that even the birds chirping at the branches of the Mahogany tree by the window flew away.
"I'm changing teams, Maam. I want to join the Team Lioness." Kiki put down the program folder, her eyes fixated at the list of songs for the group of girls that are in charge of performing boy group songs. It was named Lioness as the girls performing the songs normally done by boys should be fierce, charismatic and strong.
In real life, female lions or lionesses do all the hunting in a pride. The Lions just steps in and take any spoils of victory.
"But why? You suit the female concepts more, dear." Ms. Choi tried to her expressions. "We're getting your costume ready and it will definitely make you look sexier all the boys who will be watching will definitely want more of your performance."
What's the use of getting all the boys if Jungkook won't even want to watch it?
Ms. Choi showed her the image of her costume. It definitely was sexy because of the purple off-shoulder which would definitely accentuate her collar bones and curves. The shorts would also expose her legs more that it was too much for her liking. She has seen the choreographies and it was full of twerks and lower body dances.
She was getting sick of cute and girly concepts.
She also doesn't want to display her body just to get popularity around the school.
Kiki was aware that some of the audience aren't there to watch how she dances. They just stand there, observe her twerks and slow moves and fill their minds with erotic thoughts about her. They weren't there to admire the art she's pouring time to present in each event. It was all pointless. She values her virginity so much and she doesn't fancy the idea of guys seeing her as a sex material. Girls should stop exposing their bodies for attention. There are people who would look past that and see your sincerity for your passion.
"I want to challenge myself." She affirmed, her tone was firm. "I feel like I'm not growing here anymore. There are no choreographies to challenge my strength."
"But you're more popular in this kind of concept," Ms. Choi reasoned. "And you are the center. When you go there, you'll fight for the position."
"It doesn't matter," she shrugged nonchalantly. "As long as I'm performing in the concept that I want, people's opinion doesn't matter to me anymore."
The managing head just nodded solemnly, "Well, that's sad to hear. If you would change your mind, I can leave you a spot."
"No, thank you, Maam," she waved her hand dismissively. "But I won't change my mind anymore. You can give my costume and center position to Hyuna or Hwasa. They slay their performances and I can truly see that they enjoy the concept."
