There are more to relationships than just happy and flashy moments.
If you keep looking for those big and flashy moments, you are missing a lot of things. He was no expert in relationships but Jungkook learned from his classmates and some friends that he should pay attention to things that people thought doesn't matter but they do.
He admits that it was pretty hard keeping things up since that exciting build up was slowly dying because the two of them are mostly together all the time. They would exchange turns on who will go in each other's house but they both kept the discipline they need to keep. The two of them didn't cross any line and the farthest they did was the peck in Kiki's lips when Jungkook introduced himself to her parents.
Now, they have been in mutual understanding for two moments only because Jungkook still didn't ask Kiki to be his girlfriend.
She was getting impatient at how patient he is with courting her. She can't wait to officially tell her friends that the two of them are dating. He knows how she wants to hurry things up but Jungkook would like to take things slow.
The truth is he wanted to see if Kiki is really sure with him.
Jungkook knows that he is overthinking things again but it might be the case. What if she was really not in love with him? What if she just like him because he didn't throw himself at her? "What he still hasn't asked you to be his girlfriend yet?" Chungha sat down next to Kiki in their classroom with a shocked face. "But the two of you are acting like a real couple."
Kiki sighed deeply, massaging her forehead because she was getting stressed just by the mention of the topic. "He keeps insisting that he is still not done courting me. I know how gentleman he is and traditional but it's been two months."
Chungha tapped her chin, "I really thought that the two of you are officially dating after our first performance. He picks you up and take you here. Whether it is assisting with the dance moves or assignments, he is always make sure to help you more than he should have. Frankly, we're getting jealous at how he is treating you right."
Kiki slammed her hand on her leg, "I get the point. He is surely treating me like his princess and I'm very grateful with that. He even immortalized me by writing three poems about how he sees me. But I really want us to be official now. I need to seal it with the label that he is mine and hoes need to back off."
