Midnight Sky: The Ice Queen
Jungkook have started showing motives to Kiki.
She wasn't just feeling it or misunderstanding his actions.
He had become more open to her and did things he said he doesn't normally do. It has been three days since Jungkook started supervising them and the two of them have gotten closer. He has also began interacting with her team but Kiki made it clear to all the girls that whoever flirts with him is a dead meat.
It came to her that Jungkook's existence is an endless series of events of utter complexity and crisis in her life which she would gladly welcome.
Kiki was falling hard for him and she wasn't sure if Jungkook would really commit to her.
"Your moves are getting cleaner and your control is getting better."
Jungkook walked inside the room with a plastic bag in his left hand and a mini-donuts box in his right one. Kiki have practiced from morning until the sunsets. She was very diligent and hardworking that Jungkook cannot just ignore it. Even when he was in the computer laboratory doing some project, his subconscious keeps bringing images in his mind of Kiki trying her best. She was now an alien to the concept that she once fell in love with. He can see how much she is persisting. Kiki has received setbacks from him and yet she was still striving.
That's what he really likes about her.
Not giving up on her goals and dreams.
The only thing he can do is be there and cheer her up. Jungkook knows what it feels when no one gives you their support. When you are trying so hard and no one believes in you, you'd full into a deep abyss of doubt and feel like you are an unbarred moon. He wants to be there for her. He wasn't sure where that feeling will lead but the only thing he knows is he wants to share his light to her. Even if his light is not that bright nor big, he wanted hold Xu Jiaqi's hands and tell her to believe in herself more.
Kiki who was almost kneeling on the floor with her head hung low from exhaustion, lifted her head slowly and gave him a weary smile. Others have already gone home but she decided to stay longer as the center of the group. She even forgot to take her lunch because she was concentrated in perfecting her moves.
Jungkook crouched down, their faces only inches apart. He took out his scarf and gently started wiping the sweats that marred her face. Kiki's eyes widened slightly at his sudden action and she just couldn't move. She let him gently rub his scarf in her nose, cheeks and eyebrows. When there wasn't even a single sweat in her face, he put it away. What shocked the both of them was when Jungkook started caressing her face. He couldn't help it because she was still looking magnificent even in her exhausted form. Kiki looks like she was breathed back to life as her eyes sparkled and how her heart raised like they are in a field of daisies and dandelions.
He wanted to pull his hand away but the moment was so vivid like they were exchanging their dim lights to one another, hoping that it would pulse the clouds over their heads and they would shine through the inky black atmosphere.
