The day started with a very busy morning. The preparation for the event was extravagant especially the clubs that are in charge of the backstage, the lightings, the props, and the overall decoration. The choir was also rehearsing for the introductory performance which would signal that the event has begun. The candidates for the model competition were already gathered in their respective waiting area. Lastly, the two teams of dancers should already be completed but Team Lioness was in shambles.
There wasn't still anyone in their preparation room. The first one to arrive was their leader Chungha who instantly took out her make-up kits. The next two were Sowon and Seulgi who brought the necklace accessories for the whole team. SinB has already brought chocolate energy drinks for them. Jungkook and Kiki arrived together it was obvious for the members that they met outside the campus. The two was in charge of bring their costumes which are white cardigans and chokers.
"Where is Xin Liu?" Jungkook asked, noticing the cool boyish girl was nowhere to be found.
"Xin Liu is always late when it comes to this because she puts on a lot of stuff. She makes sure her face looks very fair and her hair was like those from the heart throb boys," Sowon answered.
"She maybe boyish but she's the one who's very conscious about how she looks. She would always show the right part of her face more than her left because she thinks it is more dashing," Kiki added.
Jungkook nodded, fully understanding that girls would rather be late than look ugly. "Start changing into your outfits and put your cool make-ups. I'm sure Xin would've already applied it."
They instantly obeyed his orders and headed to the fitting room. Just then, Xin arrived looking exactly as what he predicted.
"Where are they?" Xin asked, seeing that there wasn't anybody in the room except him.
"They're getting changed. Grab your outfit and also get changed so we can have one more final practice," Jungkook replied explicitly. Xin picked up the remaining set of outfit and headed to the fitting room.
"You're late again," Chungha gave her a flat look. "All the girls should be like you, always fresh and presentable."
Xin smiled sheepishly, "You know that I need to capture the hearts of the girls who will be watching today. I'll make sure my popping will pierce straight into their hearts."
"I'm so jealous of everyone who'll watch," Seulgi groaned, making Xin laugh.
"Let's contest who will get most of the girls," Sowon suggested and their eyes instantly sparkled at the thought.
"Sure, I mean I'm pretty sure I'll win," Chungha boasted.
"Wow, so confident," Seulgi cooed. "How about you Kiki? Won't you join us?"
