Chapter Nine-
For the rest of the day, all of us just stayed relaxed inside my house, each of us having our own conversations. We stayed in the living room mostly, though a few times people wondered into the bathroom or the kitchen, but that was it.
I mainly talked with Vic and Jaime, but occasionally Kellin and Jack would pull me into their conversations, but I almost always quickly pulled myself out of those talks. Jack would always try to pull me back into it, but Vic saved me a couple times.
"Hey, Bentley? Can I talk to you alone for a second?"Jack asked, pulling me out of me of my conversation with Jaime. Unlike Vic, Jaime had no clue about how I was trying to avoid being around Jack, so he simply smiled, telling me we could finish our conversation when I was done. I sighed, but nodded getting out of my seat.
I followed Jack into the hallway, crossing my arms over my chest, and raising an eyebrow at him. "Yes, Jack?" I asked him.
Jack chuckled a little. "How long till you give in?" He asked casually. I felt my eyes widen as I thought silently. Maybe I should just give in, I could give in, and we could just take it slow. Extremely slow. I nodded to myself, before looking back at Jack, who now had his eyebrows raised.
"Now." I told him confidently, though I wasn't sure I was truly confident, but it was too late to go back now. Jack looked at me, like he hadn't been expecting me to say that at all, but hey, neither was I. I smiled at him, proving my confession had been true. After a second Jack grinned, before pulling me to close to him, his arms around my waist.
"Finally.." He mumbled, before leaning in. I hesitated a moment, before letting myself get lost in the kiss. I let myself forget that we were in my house, with eight other guys in the house, and just enjoyed the kiss.
It was different then the previous one. Instead of me being shocked to the core by it, I let myself melt into Jack's touch as I wrapped my arms around his neck, smiling lightly into the kiss.
I pulled away from the kiss after the need to breath became to apparent. Jack was smiling at me, as he panted slightly too. I smiled back at him. "We're taking this slow. Extremely slow." I told him, hoping he'd accept my conditions. And thankfully, he nodded with a grin. "We better get back.." I told them, now wondering how long we had been gone and what the boys were thinking about it, or if they even noticed. Jack chuckled, nodding his head in agreement before taking my hand and leading me back into the living room, his normal goofy grin on his face.
The guys looked up at us as we walked into the room, all of their eyes drifting to our connected hands. Vic raised an eyebrow, and so did some of the others, but Mike grinned. "Well, welcome back lover birds." Mike said with a wink. I rolled my eyes, and some of the guys laughed at him. Jack grinned, before going back to his old spot on the floor, still holding my hand, and pulling me down so I was sitting in between his legs. I blushed slightly, looking around the room, as the rest of them stared at me.
"So, good talk I'm guessing?" Jaime asked, a smirk on his face. I rolled my eyes at him, but Jack however grinned.
"Definitely," He said, placing a kiss on my cheek from behind. This time, and for the first time in a long time, I full on blushed. Jaime, Mike, and Tony all chuckled, while Vic fake gasped.
"Someone get a camera! The great Bentley Moniker is blushing!" He said with a joking tone, but I still rolled my eyes at him, weirdo, I thought to myself. The Sleeping With Sirens guys laughed at him, but some of them were still smirking at me and Jack.
"You guys are weird." I said to them, shaking my head when they were still looking at me and Jack. They all laughed.
"You've known us how long and your just realizing that?" Mike asked, grinning. I grinned, shaking my head at him. Soon enough, things had gone back to how they were before me and Jack left and I continued my conversation with Jaime, with the occasional flirt from Jack, who was going back and forth from flirting with me and talking to someone else.
I was pulled out of my conversation with Jaime, when Vic caught my attention. "So much for not dating, huh?" He asked me, a smile on his face. I shrugged my shoulders, a smile tugging at my lips.
"I just had to wait to find the right guy." I told him, looking back at Jack, who smiled looking down at me.
(Hello! Sorry about the lack of updating for the past two days! I had a rough night, but I'm better now thanks to the help of a friend. I hope you all enjoy this chapter. Sleeping With Sirens is now one of my favorite bands! Just sayin'. I would appreciate it if you guys could check out my other main story, "A Love Like War" it's a Jack Barakat love story and it's like one of my favorite and so far longest stories. Ok, bye!)
