Chapter Twenty Four- The Wedding To Remember

_-_Bentley's POV_-_

I was really getting married. It had been almost exactly 7 months since Jack proposed, and since then, everything has been hectic. The SWS boys started there World Tour, and it was almost in the second leg. Vic and Mikey finally told me they had a sister who was adopted, (Red Water Leaves Red) and Jack and I had tried to plan a date for our wedding. But now, tonight was the night I was getting married to the man I had fallen in love three years ago. It took us while, but finally we decided to have the wedding on the first of January so the SWS boys and the PTV boys would actually be able to go without having to cancel any of the tour dates.

Right now, I was in the spare room of the church getting ready, Sarah, who was my bridesmaid, was with me, obviously excited about the wedding. I grinned, looking down at my dress, (side pic) and smoothing it over, making sure everything about it was perfect. I heard someone open the door, and I looked up to see Vic walk in, a grin on his face. "Is the bride finally ready?" He asked in a teasing voice. I laughed, and so did Sarah, but I nodded.

Since my dad still hadn't contacted me, I asked Vic, my best friend, to walk me down the aisle. Of course he said yes. I smiled, looking at Sarah, who grinned.

Sarah walked over to me and hugged me, a smile on her face. "Thanks for taking care of me." I told her, which was true. Over the first leg of the World Tour, I had gotten sick and Sarah had come up for the day and night to take care of me, before returning back to the Tour with Justin. She smiled at me, nodding.

"Of course." She said, giving me one more quick hug, before she went out of the room, nodding at Vic who smiled back at her. I let out a deep breath, and tried to focus on relaxing. Vic laughed.

"Relax, Bentley." He said with a laugh, before taking my hand and leading me out of the room. I tried relaxing, but I had a hard time believing I was really getting married to the man I loved after along time. (By the way, I realize how messed up the time schedule is, but please just go along without, their both 22 now in this, please just don't question it..) "You'll be okay, darling." Vic said, grinning as he referenced his own song. I rolled my eyes, a brief laugh escaping my lips. I was going through with this. I was marrying Jack, today.

Sarah and Justin were walking in front of us, then Kellin and his wife, Katelynne, and then finally me and Vic. I took deep breaths, still panicking inside. I knew what I had to say, but I was still nervous. By the time me and Vic were walking, I had mostly taken care of myself and had calmed myself, but I was still panicking inside. Vic once again chuckled, but didn't comment on my inside panicking.

As soon as I looked up at Jack though, a calm smile appeared on my face. I could do this. I could marry Jack without having a panic attack, I thought to myself. Vic grinned at me reassuringly, before letting go of my hand, and standing next to his girlfriend, Danielle. I smiled, taking a deep breath, and looking back at Jack, who grinned at me, before we both looked at the preacher, who smiled at us both.

"Today there will be no dearly beloved, no betrothed, and no ancient rhyme of the married. Today there are no dead languages to solemnize vows that are very much alive and will remain so for a lifetime. Today promises become permanent and friends become family.

"However, this day is not about the words spoken or the rings exchanged, nor is it about grand pronouncements and recessional marches. This day - the day of Bentley and Jack's wedding - is about love.

"One of my favorite authors once wrote, "If love is not all, then it is nothing: this principle, and its opposite, collide down all the years of my breathless tale." Bentley and Jack, your breathless tale is about to begin.

"If love is not all, then it is nothing. Its opposite - If love is all, then it is everything - is going to be the basis for every aspect of your relationship. All you have to do is simply love one another and that love shows through in everything you do for one another, how you treat each other, in good times and bad.

"Love isn't just a word; it's an action. Love isn't something you say, it's something you do. Love is genuine, honest, and open, compassionate and kind, passionate and blind, love doesn't know space or time, nor look through jealous eyes, and in the modified words of Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, "Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never dies."

There are many different kinds of love, almost if not all of which are represented here today. There is romantic love, the love of parents and children, of brothers and sisters and family, and love among friends.

"Not only do Bentley and Jack love one another romantically - and they do, you can see it in every look, every touch, every moment they're together - they also love one another as friends. In fact, they're best friends, constantly giggling and taunting and teasing and very plainly and obviously having fun together.

That love and enjoyment of each other as best friends will sustain them through this marriage. In addition, the love collectively in this room, from friends and family, will help sustain and support the promises they make today."

I smiled, looking at Jack, who smiled back at me, taking my hand and squeezing it once as reassurance. This was right, not matter what my dad thought about me being with Jack.

"All of us here will help solidify this bond, as these two individuals are joined as husband and wife. This new journey will be at times richly rewarding and extremely difficult, but, most importantly, it will be a journey you take together.

"Marriage is much more than your signatures on a legal contract. You are promising, in front of all these people you love, that you want to be with each other and only each other for the rest of your lives, and that you will do everything in your power to honor the promises you are making here today. For their part, the people who love you will also do everything in their power to try to help you hold up your end of the bargain."

I smiled, as Jack looked as to Gabe, who handed him my ring, a grin on his face as he did. I looked at Marshall, who stood next to Sarah, a smile on his face as he handed me Jack's ring. I grinned, before turning back Jack.  "I, Jack Fowler, give you, Bentley Moniker, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." He said, a goofy grin on his face as he placed the ring on my finger.

I grinned as well, before doing the same. "I, Bentley Moniker, give you, Jack Fowler, this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." I said with a smile, before placing the ring on Jack's finger. We both grinned at each other.

"By the power vested in me by the State of Florida , I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." The preacher said, before Jack grinned, winking at me, and pulling me into a kiss. I could tell as he deepened the kiss, but the sound of cheering in the background pulled us back to reality, making me away, a cheeky grin on my face.

"I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Fowler." The man said, and everyone stood up, applauding filling the church. I knew in that moment, that any small doubts I had about marrying Jack, had disappeared.
