Chapter 20

Dana's POV

"Wow....you really had a big house" I was amazed when I saw his house and how big it is. It's bigger than our house in the Philippines. "Come and I'm sure you will be amazed again when you come inside" he said and he never lied about me being amazed again. He had a collection of most expensive and famous paintings. He even have those unique furnitures too. Ohhh he really is rich.

"You are the only one who lives here?" I asked him "I had my maids and guards in here" he smiled and now I can clearly see how handsome he is.

"Zach can I asked you something?"he nodded and we sit on the sofa

" Do you have a girlfriend, a wife or a lover?"I asked and he laugh

"I don't have a girlfriend, no wife nor a lover. In short I'm still single" he answered "but why don't you have one...you're handsome,gentleman and caring?" I asked out of curiosity

"Well I never had a girlfriend since birth. And I totally don't like having a girlfriend, I don't want to be like my father. My mother left my father after she got caught by my father with someone. She left me with my father and got all our money with her lover, luckily my grandfather help us. And I always thought that all women are all the same not until I met you" He said

"You look really horrible and devastated just like how my father looked when he was being left by my mom" I can see sadness in his eyes

"After knowing that your husband cheated on you I feel that I need to help you and your baby. I know how hard it is to raise a child all by yourself so I'm here to help you with it" he smiled. This man was really nice.

"Don't worry I don't expect you to pay me back " he said "if that's the case...then who am I to refuse that offer" then we both laugh

"Do you want to work?" He asked me "yes of course!" I confidently said "you can give your papers and I'll  give you a job instantly" he said but I realized that I only bring my passport,a credit card and my clothes

"I left all my papers..I only had my passport" I said  "What should we do then?" He said "wait..." I looked at him.

"What if I change my name,status amd everything?" I suggested "are you sure about that?" He asked "well you want me to forget everything but it wasn't easy but if we change my name then It won't take to long for me to forget everything" I said "but changing your name doesn't mean you can forget everything in a short period of time" he said

"But at least I can forget some of the bad things happens toe back there. When I heard my name being called a I feel the pain again and again.So please help  me change my name" I begged "If that's what you want then...let's do it" after he agreed I thanked him again and again.

After he finished all my papers he smiled at me. "Should we throw a party for your new name,new life and new you?" I laughed about what he had said  "you don't have to do that" I said "it's too much already" I said

"Why?" He asked "you already take a leave on your work,allow me to live in your house,help me change my identity, and help me start a new life...so it's totally too much" I said "and I don't like parties from now on" I added and he just nodded and smile

"If you say so" he said "let's have a dinner at one of my favorite restaurant" he said and I just agreed since I'm also starving right now.

After we arrived at his favorite restaurant he was being greeted by the guards,waiters amd waitresses and that made me curious.  "I think you really like it here to the point that you even know every guards and workers at this restaurant" after what I said he laugh "it's because I'm too famous here" he said "really?" I said and he laugh at me again "why did you laugh?" I asked "you really believed that?" He asked "yes...I think you're really famous in here that's why all the workers and even some of the customers knew you" I said after we both find a place where we can sit and eat comfortably. "Actually, I'm the owner of this restaurant" I was amazed by him again. "No questions now and pick a food from the menu" he said so I just find a food from the menu. I'll just throw my questions later on.

"Waiter!" He called "what do you like?" He asked "it's hard to pick...I think everything is delicious" I said "I'll go pick then.."he said and I nodded.

"Two beef stir-fry with couscous,two cannelloni pasta stuffed with veal and spinach in cheese sauce,two grilled chicken with spinach and mushroom,two double chocolate cheesecake, and two strawberries and cream ice cream" he said "just wait for a little while sir and we'll make your order"

I was about to asked him when he suddenly had a phone call. "Hello...what!" I looked at him and saw his faced very sad

"Okay" he ended the call and stare at me and my heart started to beat fast "Charry..."he said " who is she? "I asked " remember the one I call when you're still at the hospital?"he asked "yes" i answered "she's Charry and I just got a phone call that she got into an accident" I was surprised when he said those "is she okay?what happened?" I asked "the bus fall on a cliff and she got severely injured" he said "what would we do now?" I felt sad for her. She also helped me and I can't just stay im here without doing something. "We should just stay here they said she'll be okay if the surgery goes good.All we can do is to pray"he said and I nodded but I can't stop my tears from falling.

" why are you crying?"he asked "i felt bad for her. I can't even do something for her. She also helped me a lot " I said "Don't worry Scarlett everything will be okay" he hugged me tightly.
