Chapter 14

Dahlia's POV

"Hi Dad" I greeted as Moony and I approached his cell with the Guard,

"Hey flower! Merry Christmas" he smiled approaching the cell bars, I hugged him through them and sighed, "You look so much more like your Mother each year" he commented, I gave him a small smile,

"Do the two of you know anything about the Chamber of Secrets?" I asked, Dad and Uncle Moony exchanged a look before shaking their heads,

"No. Why do you ask, Dahlia?" Uncle Moony asked,

"They've been opened again at Hogwarts..." I stated before a female cackled,

"Chamber of Secrets?" She called out,

"Shut it Bellatrix!" Dad snapped making her howl, I approached her cell and she tilted her head as she stared at me,

"What do you know about it, Lestrange?" I hissed glaring at her, she gave me a wicked smile,

"My my, you do look like her" she muttered approaching the bars, "Such a pity she's dead" she cackled, I narrowed my eyes at her and she began laughing while she wriggled about,

"Dahlia enough" Uncle Moony demanded, I turned to him and Bellatrix jumped to the bars gaining my full attention,

"So much anger for a little girl" she sneered, I gritted my teeth and clenched my fist shut and she dropped to the floor,

"I need to leave" I asserted, Dad nodded and mentioned me over for a hug,

"I love you petal" he whispered, we broke apart, Moony and I followed the guard back to the entrance, we apparated to Godrics Hollow, we approached the gravestones and placed the flowers like every year,

"Merry Christmas. I love and miss you guys" I muttered before walking away to the house, I walked inside and went upstairs towards the nursery and gasped at the sight, the memory that had been projected was from that night, Uncle Prongs was lying dead on the top of the stairs, as I approached the nursery I noticed Auntie Lily's hair sprawled across the floor, I got into the room and saw Auntie Lily dead along with Mum on the floor, while Voldemort stood over Harry and myself in the crib, crying, as Voldemort went to curse I dropped to my knees letting out an agonising scream and a pulse, erasing the memory projection, footsteps approached me from behind and I was cradled into Uncle Moony's chest as I bawled my eyes out.

We were making our way to the pitch for our game against Hufflepuff when McGonagall stopped us in our tracks,

"The match has been cancelled" she informed we all exchanged a look with each other,

"You can't cancel Quidditch" Wood argued,

"It's cancelled, Wood take your team to Gryffindor Tower" She demanded making me raise an eyebrow, "Potter, Black. Let's find Mr. Weasley" She ordered, we nodded and searched the Gryffindor stand for Ron, we eventually found him and was lead to the Hospital Wing, "I warn you, this could be a wee bit of a shock" McGonagall alerted before I noticed Hermione petrified, my eyes widened and ran to her side,

"Hermione" Ron whispered in disbelief,

"She was found near the Library along with this" McGonagall commented showing us a hand mirror, "Does it mean anything to any of you?" she asked, I shook my head

"No" The three of us said in unison.

It was after the new curfew and the three of us were currently walking through the Forbidden Forest, following the spiders like Hagrid told us to, we entered a clearing and I looked around my eyes widening at the site of all the spiders surrounding us,

"Who is it?" A deep voice called out, we didn't reply, "Hagrid?" It called out again then a thud occurred, "Is that you?" It asked,

"We're friends of Hagrid" Harry answered them a giant spider exited the hole, Ron whimpered as he grabbed on to my arm, "You're Aragog, aren't you?" Harry commented,

"Yes. Hagrid has never sent men into our Hollow before" Aragog stated,

"He's in trouble. Up at the school there have been attacks and they think that it's Hagrid" I informed before Ron yanked my arm and pointed upwards, I looked up and noticed the hundreds of spiders slowly descending, "They think that he's opened the Chamber of Secrets like before" I added, Ron's grip on my arm tightening

"That's a lie. Hagrid never opened the Chamber of Secrets" Aragog retorted,

"Then you're not the monster?" Harry asked,

"No, the monster was born in the castle. I came to Hagrid from a distant land in the pocket of a traveler" he informed, I tuned out on everything else as I noticed the spiders of all sizes slowly enclose us,

"Can we panic now?" Ron cried, I sighed and nodded before we ran away, a spider jumped down in front of us, we stood back-to-back as they closed us in, "Know any spells?" Ron asked,

"One but it's not powerful enough for all of them" Harry replied,

"Where's Hermione when you need her?!" Ron exclaimed, which made my blood boil

"Get low to the ground now" I ordered, they both stared at me with widen eyes and went to object but then decided against it and got down to the ground, I took a deep breath before dropping to my knees and letting out a scream and a large pulse, sending the spiders away from us, then the Weasley's flying car appeared and opened its doors to us, Harry helped me to my feet and we got into the car, Ron driving,

"What the bloody hell was that?!" Ron questioned as he drove through the spiders,

"Let's call it a family thing, from my Mother's side" I replied, we escaped the spiders and sighed in relief,

"Glad we're out of there" Ron commented before screaming as a spider grabbed him from out of the window,

"Arania Exumai!" I jinxed sending the spider flying, "Let's celebrate once we're safe in the a Common room" I sighed.
