"Osamu, lean down a bit", Kimiko told the grey-haired twin.

Osamu was confused, but obliged nevertheless. His cheeks dusted with a delicate shade of pink when Kimiko brought her face closer to his, extending her hand towards him. Befuddled, he opened his mouth to question her when he felt her fingers brush over his hair, making him unconsciously hum.

"There", Kimiko held out a fluffy down feather and leaned back. "It was stuck in your hair", she chuckled seeing realization pass over his face as he muttered a small thank you.

"Oi, 'Samu, lets go now", Atsumu interrupted, stepping out from the doorway. His eyes narrowed in on the blush present on his brother's face, walking between the two to separate Kimiko from his twin. Unfortunately, his plan wasn't very effective because after a couple minutes of walking, Kimiko somehow was sandwiched between the brothers - meaning she was next to Osamu again.

Previously, Atsumu had managed to get Kimiko to come with him to his house to grab his stuff, after a lot of convincing on his part. When the pair got there, Osamu had already changed and decided to wait for his brother, his reasoning being that he didn't want to leave Kimiko alone. This was how the trio had ended up walking to the gym together.

...

Shortly after arriving at the gym, Kimiko trailed behind the twins to greet the members of Inarizaki before parting ways only to realize something odd about the team.

"Is Aran-san not here today?" Kimiko asked, noticing his presence was missing.

"Actually, would you mind subbing in for Aran today Udai?", the coach asked her while frowning at his clipboard. "It seems that Aran is out sick for today and since you're an ace yourself, it would help us a lot."

This wasn't something Kimiko expected at all. "Of course! I'd be happy to", she responded, excitement flooding through her at the thought of playing another match. A week of sitting around on the bleachers and watching other teams play was making her fingers itch for some competition.

"We're playing against Itachiyama today right?"

Kita nodded in response. Itachiyama and Inarizaki had a history of rivalry, with the two almost always going head to head during at Nationals. At the same time, an intimidating group of boys made their may towards the same court that Inarizaki was standing next to.

Kimiko recognized one of them, Sakusa. She remembered watching one of his games back when Itachiyama went over to the states for a match against one of the top teams in the U.S.A. The flexibility of his wrists added spin to the ball which, making both his serves and spikes fearsome.
