"Meat is Life!" Bokuto exclaimed, scooping up a third of the sizzling meat from the conventional grill.
"Oh no you don't", Kuroo growled, pulling the owlish ace back by the neck and sweeping the beef dangling from his chopsticks away.
Using the distraction, Oikawa quickly started to pick up the slices of beef one by one, ultimately gaining a spot in a three-way battle for who gets the most Korean barbecue.
While the three boys were fighting a battle to the death, Kimiko was calmly snapping apart her own pair of chopsticks. It was definitely an added bonus to have a griller smack dab in the middle of a Karaoke room.
It was a fact that she was definitely coming back.
Grabbing a thin slice of beef between her chopsticks, she brought it up to her mouth, placing it in with a plop. She let out a delighted hum at the delectable sweet-salty taste, attracting the others' attentions. "Let's all just eat before the meat gets burned", she proposed when all eyes turned on her.
"Ah, Kimi-chan, you should feed me", Oikawa suggested, opening his mouth to form an O shape.
"Feed yourself", was her curt reply, making the setter sulk while the other captains chortled in sheer amusement.
"She won't feed you but she'll feed me, right chibi-chan?" Kuroo declared triumphantly, completely unaware that his self-assured smirk would be harshly wiped away in the next few seconds.
"You have hands Tetsuro-san, use them."
The silence wavered in the air and the girl sighed when she looked up to see two sulking captains.
"Bokuto is going to eat all the meat if you guys don't start eating", she stated but they showed no signs of movement. Setting her own chopsticks down in defeat, she snatched Oikawa's away with her right hand and Kuroo's with her left, swiftly maneuvering them to grab slice of beef in each and stuffing it into their ajar mouths.
Almost immediately, their faces lit up and she had to suppress a giggle at their childishness.
"Woah, you can use chopsticks in both hands!" Bokuto praised, sparkles gleaming in his eyes as he proceeded to stuff another stack of food into his already full mouth.
The other two captains were about to comment as well until their eyes landed on the meat still left on the grill. In his wake, Bokuto had eaten almost half of all the meat in the span of the two minutes that the two spent sulking. No regrets though, they would've done it all over again if that meant Kimiko would feed them again.
