In the skies above Serenno, two fleets engage in furious combat with one another. One fleet belonging to the First Order. The other belonging to the New Republic Armada.
TIE fighters and X-Wings engaging in fierce dogfights among the clouds. The debris of their exchange raining down on the battleground below.
On the ground below the two warring fleets the armies of the New Republic and First Order.
The forces of the First Order have been pushed back to Castle Serenno by the New Republic Army. Najh Ren orders his forces to erect the castle's ray shields to fend off the New Republic's forces from bombing the castle from above with their Y-Wings.

The New Republic Forces have assembled a battalion of TX-136 Halberd class tanks near the castle walls. The tanks maintain a constant barrage of cannon fire on the castle walls. The Ray shields remaining unyielding.
Najh Ren sneering at the New Republic onslaught. He clutches at a bleeding blaster wound on his side, while clutching his curved-hilt lightsaber in the other. He takes out a holo-communicator and contacts the Supremacy.
On the bridge of the Supremacy, the communications officer answers Najh Ren's incoming communication. He tells Grand General Hux, who walks over to talk to Najh Ren.
Najh Ren informs Hux of the dire straights that he and his forces are in. He asks Hux how much longer will it take for his forces to arrive to render assistance.
Hux informs Najh Ren that they'll be there in ten minutes.
Najh Ren frustratingly tells Hux that his forces may not last ten minutes.
We return to the skies above Serenno where the battle rages. Suddenly, a black TIE-Defender drops out of hyperspace and begins firing on the New Republic Armada X-Wings.
Try as they might the X-Wing squadrons are no match for the skills of the TIE-Defender's pilot. The pilot manages to quickly cut through the X-Wings and make their way towards the planet's surface. Two squadrons of U-Wings and E-Wings in close pursuit of the TIE-Defender. The combatants breach the clouds as they descend onto the battlefield of the two armies below.
The TIE-Defender fires its laser cannons into a large group of New Republic soldiers grouped around an AT-TE Mk IV tank walker. The resulting explosion sends out a shockwave that throws the soldiers about like ragdolls. The TIE-Defender does a barrel roll over the explosion and fires two missiles at an AT-OT Mk VIII transport walker. The missiles strike the front legs of the walker, causing it to fall forward onto the ground.
The two squadrons close behind the TIE-Defender, firing everything they have at them. The pilot of the TIE-Defender easily dodging their barrage of laser fire and missiles.
The TIE-Defender tips to the left allowing a missile to just graze by under the fighter. It quickly levels out and fires on the missile resulting in an explosion that the TIE-Defender flies into.
The two squadrons break pursuit and fly around the explosion. One of the squadron pilots comments on the pilot of the TIE-Defender being crazier than Commander Dameron. As the words leave the mouth of the pilot, they are quickly and effortlessly shot down by the TIE-Defender emerging from the cloud of debris left by the destroyed missile. The rest of the squadrons scramble to regain a defensive formation but it is too late as they are quickly destroyed by the TIE-Defender.
The TIE-Defender descends onto the battlefield and cuts a path of destruction in the ranks of the New Republic ground forces.
Najh Ren looks on from atop the front gates of Castle Serenno, as the TIE-Defender continuously carves its way through the New Republic. He yells for snipers to take up their positions and rain blaster fire onto the New Republic soldiers.
The snipers take their positions and begin showering the battlefield with blaster fire.
One of the Storm Troopers tells Najh Ren that their AT-MP Mk VII walkers are ready for redeployment. Najh Ren gives the order to open the gates and sends out a squadron of Storm Troopers on speeders with electro javelins to clear the way for the AT-MP walkers.
The New Republic forces are caught off guard in the onslaught of attacks coming their way. The General of the New Republic forces contacts Vice Admiral Ackbar in orbit for assistance.
Vice Admiral Ackbar answers the call on the bridge of his ship, a Victory-class Star Destroyer designated the Luke Skywalker. He informs the General that the battle isn't going well for his forces in space either and that they may need to retreat. As Vice Admiral Ackbar finishes his words the Supremacy drops out of hyperspace and begins to unleash a devastating onslaught of laser and cannon fire upon the New Republic fleet. Vice Admiral Ackbar manages to order the Luke Skywalker to make an emergency jump to hyperspace as more First Order forces arrive and manage to surround the rest of the feet, thus preventing their escape.
Aboard the bridge of the Supremacy, Grand General Hux stands before the main viewing window smiling to himself in self-admiration as he sneers at the New Republic fleet that has been left behind. He orders his comms officer to open a channel to all New Republic ships in the area and offers them a chance to surrender peacefully.
One of the captains of the New Republic fleet opens a channel and tells General Hux that he can go to Hell.
Grand General Hux smiles in contentment as he orders the Supremacy to lock on to that ship and FIRE. The New Republic ship is unable to withstand the onslaught of the Supremacy.
The other New Republic ships begin to fire at the First Order fleet.
Meanwhile, in the Supremacy's hangar. Kylo Ren and T'al Ren are boarding a shuttle to take to the surface of Serenno. A squadron of TIE fighters flies alongside the shuttle as an escort. On their way to the surface, Kylo Ren spots his black TIE-Defender flying around the battlefield cutting down the New Republic forces as a squadron of X-wings, B-Wings, and E-Wings are in pursuit.
The TIE-Defender flies into the clouds above for cover as the squadron pursuing it breaks their pursuit. A second squadron dives into the clouds that the TIE-Defender went into to meet it head-on. There are several explosions among the clouds. The first squadron regroups and forms a new battle formation. They take aim at the explosions and fire their missiles. The TIE-Defender emerges from the clouds and shoots down all of the oncoming missiles, then flies between the first squadron. It drops a missile as it passes through the squadron's formation. It quickly flips around and fires on the missile, causing it to explode.
The squadron tries to fly away but is caught in the explosion causing their instruments to malfunction.
The TIE-Defender quickly pursues each member of the squadron individually and shoots them out of the sky.
T'al Ren is looking out of a view port of the shuttle and makes a sarcastic comment to Kylo Ren about how Ameil Ren is piloting his TIE-Defender better than he does.
Kylo Ren looks at T'al Ren and makes an aggravated grunt. He walks towards the boarding ramp of the shuttle.
T'al Ren nervously asks Kylo Ren what is he about to do.
Kylo Ren looks back at T'al Ren over his shoulder. He tells T'al Ren that he's going for a little walk. He opens the door to the boarding ramp.
The inside of the shuttle becomes depressurized causing the Storm Troopers to hunker down in their seats.
T'al Ren uses the Force to hold himself in place as the air within the shuttle is being sucked out of the cabin. He tells Kylo Ren that this is a bad idea.
Kylo Ren jumps out of the shuttle and falls towards the battlefield below. The doors of the boarding ramp close behind him.
