Kylo Ren is sitting in his room, with his helmet off, using the Force to project his consciousness across the galaxy to New Alderaan in order to attend his mother's funeral. There is a buzzing at his door. He opens his eyes breaking his concentration as a tear begins slowly rolling down his face. He wipes it away and walks towards the door grabbing his helmet. He slips the helmet on as he answers the door yelling at the visitor that he gave specific orders on not wanting to be disturbed.
The visitor is Grand-General Hux who proceeds to tell Kylo Ren that if his men weren't so scared of what the Dark Sider would do to them then he wouldn't have had to come himself. He also scolds Kylo Ren for turning off his communicator.
Kylo Ren tells Hux that is the whole point of not wanting to be disturbed to which Hux grunts and adjusts his collar.
Hux tells Kylo Ren that they are about to arrive at Serenno and that T'al Ren is mobilizing the ground forces for rapid deployment once they arrive.
Kylo Ren nods and walks towards the turbo-lift with Hux beside him.
Hux tells Kylo Ren that he has his sympathies.
Kylo Ren turns to Hux in anger to ask what did he mean by that.
Hux tells Kylo Ren that he had heard of Leia's passing. That everyone in the galaxy had. He tells Kylo Ren that he has his sympathies because even he knew how great a person Leia was and that even though she was their enemy she still had his respect for her ingenuity as a brilliant military leader. He goes on about how his own mother had been killed by the New Republic when he was a child and that all he remembers of her is that she smelled like nysillin herbs. He says that she was very kind and that he doesn't even remember what she looks like anymore.
Kylo Ren condescendingly tells Hux that it was a sad story and that he doesn't care about Hux's personal issues at the moment.
Hux tells Kylo Ren that he is lucky he has the Force. He tells him that he can just meditate or touch some object to recall his mother or even look at a holo-image of her. He tells Kylo Ren that when it comes to his own mother that he doesn't even have that.
They bored the turbo-lift and Kylo Ren turns to Hux and gives him a half-hearted backhanded apology. He thanks him for his words of sympathy.
Hux smiles and tells Kylo Ren that if he isn't careful he might actually end up actually meaning what he said just now and the two share a chuckle.
The turbo-lift arrives at the hangar bay and Kylo Ren departs heading for his TIE Defender. Hux continues in the turbo-lift towards the bridge of the Supremecy.
Kylo Ren looks around the hangar for his TIE Defender and T'al Ren walks over to him and asks what took him so long as he had sent word to Kylo Ren twenty minutes ago. Kylo Ren tells him that Hux's men are too incompetent to follow simple instructions.
T'al Ren chuckles and tells Kylo Ren that they aren't the only ones that have a knack for not following instructions.
Kylo Ren turns to T'al Ren in anger and asks him what did he mean by that.
T'al Ren then points out that Kylo Ren's TIE Defender is missing.
Kylo Ren asks him what happened to it.
T'al Ren tells him that he tried to stop her but he already knows how Amiel Ren can be very persuasive when she wants something.
Kylo Ren then angrily asks him where is she.
