I left early with mom for school, today was Monday so I was going to school why she to the shop. Mom and I had a dare two days ago and I could not wait for her too be shamed but at the same time I wished there will be lot of customers.
"Are you still on with the dare?" I said to mom and she smiled.
"Yes I am, I have faith I mean I prayed about it yesterday, so y..yes I'm still on" she replied my question and then silence.
I pulled out my phone from the pocket of my hoodie and texted both Becca and Katty that I would be there any minute. Knowing Katty she hates to be late for school like nerdy type while Becca loves everything in order.
I stepped down from mom's car and walked into the school. I still loved the fresh smell of the school even after being here for a week.
"Good day" I greeted the school guard feeling excited all of a sudden when I saw Edward and then walked towards him.
"Hey" I said to him but he plainly ignored me and continued walking forward.
"Hey" I said to him again trying to match his pace but he was faster. I kept calling to him and he kept ignoring.
"Edward" I shouted and he turned around and took hold of my arms.
"What What, What do you want from me?" he asked and moved closer to me such that our faces were few inches from each other.
"I..I...I ehmmm" I couldn't speak again I was out of words.
"It's best you listen to your friends, stay away" he said and left me standing there frozen.
After some minutes of thinking, I looked around and found an empty bench. I walked to it and sat there.
It was weird in fact really weird, a guy that I met just a week ago the guy that I had hardly spoken to made me want to cry all because of what he said.
I did not know when tears started coming out until I felt a drop on my arms. I quickly touched my face and I felt tears, picking up a tissue from my purse I wiped my face with it.
In order to get rid of this I went for my class, I had mastered the work schedule a little. My next class was P.E so I went to the gym.
"UP andddddd DOWN, keep going, yes and Up and down" the P.E teacher said and we all did as he said. I hated this, at home I didn't even move a muscle at exercise.
I did as he said without any complain because the pain in my heart was greater than the pain in my body.
"Keep moving, move, Kayla you aren't doing it well move those arms" he instructed and I followed absent-minded.
I tripped on one of my toes and I fell hard on the floor and the whole gym burst into laughter.
"Here" I heard a sweet masculine voice call out to me as he stretched his hands forward to me. He looked cute with his shiny black hair and sweaty body and also his brown eyes.
I initially denied but after trying to get up and I couldn't, I accepted. He put my arms over him onto his shoulders, took hold of my waist and took me to an empty bench.
"Where does it hurt?" he asked bending down.
"My ankle but no don't do it, I will" I said sincerely and he just nodded, stood up and started to leave.
"Wait" I said and he turned back, "Thank you" I continued and he smiled.
"By the way my name is Collins, Collins Henderson" he said putting his hand forward for a shake and my eyes nearly bulged out on hearing his name.
