Amanda
I was in the bathroom singing and having my own time. The bakery has been doing quite well though it was mainly the people from Andrew's company.
Also Jenny had shocked me yesterday by apologizing, she was getting better and kind of closer. She talked now but I was still scared I will have to one day tell her the truth.
I left the bathroom wrapping a towel over my body but this time I quickly grabbed my clothes and wore it.
Leaving my room I walked into the kitchen and prepared breakfast for Jenny and I. We ate and then I took her to school.
Stepping down from the car I saw Andrew sitting in the place I met him for the first time. He was lost in his thoughts and I could see pain in his eyes, his gorgeous eyes.
I moved forward slowly not knowing what to do or say, all I knew was that I could not just see him in pain. I sat beside him and he had still not noticed me.
*cough cough* I faked clearing my throat and he straightened himself immediately.
"Hi Amanda, how long have you been here?" he asked masking his pain with a fake smile.
"I might not know you much but I know when someone is in pain" I said to him and he sighed.
"What is the problem?" I asked softly and he nearly went blank again but then I held his hands and comforted him.
"It's my father" he said to me and I kept quiet waiting for him to say all by himself.
"He wants me to get married before the year ends if not all that I own, the company would be all gone" he said too and I could feel the pain more intensely.
"But with your looks you could get any girl in the world" I said jokingly but I meant it. He was handsome with blue eyes, God had blessed him so why would any female reject him.
"That is the problem, my looks is the problem" he said to me and I squinted my eyes in confusion.
"Every girl that I've come across are only attracted to my looks and not my heart" he said and that rang a bell in my head but I felt bad for him.
"Oh I'm sorry, that doesn't make sense" he said and stood up.
"No no it does, you are the best inside no matter the face you wear" I said to him and he stopped.
"I understand" I said further and he squeezed his eyes.
"What do you mean?" he asked coming forward.
"I know what it means for someone to not love your heart but only your looks" I said tears running down my cheeks and then I started running towards the bakery.
"Amanda" Andrew called after me trying to reach me but I ran faster. I did not want him to see me in this weak state.
"Amanda, I'm calling you" he called louder but I reached the bakery on time and shut the door at him.
It was a transparent door so I locked it and then he stopped in front of the door.
"Amanda" he called my name softly and that brought more tears to me.
"I'm sorry" I said to him and then went to the bathroom and cried. I cried and cried and then the memory came rushing to me again.
"You look gorgeous" Mom said to me as she was standing in front of my room door as I was finishing the touches on my face.
"Thanks mom" I said dropping the brush on the table and gave her a hug.
