Amanda.
My eyes shot open at exactly six o'clock. Straightening up on my bed and trying to gain balance I cleaned my eyes as I welcomed the light coming though the window to my eyes.
It was Saturday and I had to go check the new store I was going to rent to start a new business which is baking. I love baking and I know that Jenny knows how to.
I stood up and went to the bathroom to freshen up a little. I was about bathing when I heard a loud thud outside.
"Oh my God!" I said as I went towards the door and checked around. I saw nothing so I went to Jenny's room and saw that she was sound asleep.
I wiped my eyes and scolded myself inside for thinking a lot and sleeping late.
I bathed quickly and dressed up in a nice jeans and a plain red shirt. I wanted to look nice on my first day and to at least leave a good impression on the landlord so I let my hair flow freely the tip almost reaching my back.
I cooked breakfast for the both of us but by the time I was done Jenny had not woken up. I did not want to disturb her cause it was Saturday so I eat alone and left the rest in the refrigerator.
"Lord be with me and guide me" I prayed as I left the house.
I seated myself in the driver's seat and smiled at myself through the mirror. I put the mirror back in its plate and revved the engine.
It did not take me up to an hour to reach there. I parked my car in the parking lot and moved towards the building.
I realized that I left a little to early when I saw that the building was still locked and no one was in site.
Not wanting to go home knowing that the store will be open soon I looked around and found an empty bench. I moved towards it and sat down.
"Wow!" I said to myself as I was in awe of the tall and elegant building standing in its full glory in front of me.
When would I own something as big as this.
I just have to keep working till I get there.
I would do this job for Jenny.
"Hi" someone beside me said and broke my chain of thoughts.
"Hi" I replied in a dry tone clearly not wanting to be involved in a conversation.
"Hmmmm quite harsh" he said again and I just rolled my eyes because he was trying to push it.
I could not seat there comfortably again as his nice aroma was harassing me.
"I'm sure I smell like rotten egg now" I thought to myself.
"OK since you do not want to start a conversation I'll introduce myself" he continued.
"The name is Andrew Williams but you can call me Andrew" he said again but I did not want him to continue.
"Exc..." I tried to talk but he cut me short.
"And I'm the owner of this company" he said pointing his hand to the large building that me think for a while.
"Excuse me what did you say" I said with a questioning face.
"What did you hear me say" he brought his face closer to me.
"I.. I.. You said you are the owner of this company" I stammered a little because of our proximity.
"Yes, you are correct" he said with a worried face but he immediately covered it with a wide smile.
"We build and sell buildings and we also buy and sell them." he continued with a true smile this time.
