honest and painful need not be synonymous
All the stars lift away from your skin
And call me to the sky above
The same way
The fog leaves the well
Amd rises to drown out our silhouettes
You're no longer
And neither am I
So I fall into you
As you do into me
And we both do into the ground
Earthly pleasures, shedding our skins
If any of me was left
I would be praying
For the stars to not interrupt us
And call up what's left of you
Because I know of the whispers
Crawling into your warden's ears
So even if the sky above drifts into space
And your feet are displaced to ground far away
I'll call the stars above
And ask them to guide me your way
