I watched as the Outriders continued beating against the dome. One managed to get through, and it clicked. "They're not killing themselves--they're weakening the barrier," I said as more pushed through. Dust kicked up as the armies fired at them. Sam flew above us, firing pistols and dodging as the aliens jumped to try and reach him.
"Back up, Sam. Unless you wanna get your wings singed," Rhodey flew along the barrier, dropping bombs that killed most of the approaching aliens. But they kept coming and were getting further around the perimeter. "Cap, if these things circle the perimeter and get in behind us, there's only Ch'tasi between them and Vision," Bruce warned. "Then we better keep them in front of us," Steve said. "And how do we do that?" Okoye asked T'Challa.
"We open the barrier. On my signal, open northwest section 17," T'Challa said. "Requesting confirmation my king. You said open the barrier?" Ch'tasi asked. "On my signal," T'Challa confirmed. "This will be the end of Wakanda," M'baku said. My heart was pumping from adrenaline caused by the coming battle.
