"What'd you do? What'd you do?!" Thor yelled. Instead of answering, Thanos opened a portal and flew backward into it. Stormbreaker fell to the ground with a thud. "Where'd he go? Thor, where'd he go?" Steve asked. I pulled myself to my feet, gritting my teeth as I pulled the dagger out of my stomach.
"Steve?" Bucky called. We turned to see Bucky staring at his arm, which was turning to dust. He tripped, landing on the ground with a poof. He had vanished, the only thing left in his wake a pile of dust. Steve went over, feeling where Bucky was mere seconds ago.
Faintly, I heard T'Challa talking to Okoye. She started shouting in Xhosa. "No, no, no, no, no! Groot, no!" Raccoon's voice was heartbroken as Groot faded away. "Yanvi, Yanvi, hold on. Come on. No," The blue woman faded to dust as well. My mind was spinning.
Wanda raised her head to the sky, fading away peacefully as I felt a burning sensation in my fingertips. I kept telling myself it was fine. That it wouldn't happen to me. But my gut said otherwise. But I needed to know one thing before I faded away.
"Thor!" I shouted. Picking up his ax, he turned to me. "What's wrong?" He asked. But I knew he knew what was about to happen. "Did he suffer?" I asked.
