A Golden Heart (Midas x reader)

The Yacht

I really wouldn't be going to the pool party if it were my choice but at least I get to be on a yacht for the very first time. Maybe when I'm there I could sneak away and look for some secretive stuff.

I've seen the way Midas acts around me in comparison to others. With this advantage maybe I could get some info out of him. Then I'll have him wrapped around me little finger.

"Lets see, lets see. What do I have here." I say rummaging through my drawers. Maybe I should catch Midas' attention and then he'll eventually trust me with his secrets? But which bathing suit should I wear? Oh, how about this red one. Nah too bright.

This flowered one seems nice, and this black one is simple but intriguing. I put on the flowered on and go look in the mirror. "Not bad, but let's see the other one." I try the black one on.

Nice, this one is so much more better, it even has some gold aspects, sure to catch his eye. It's a simple black bikini with crisscrosses and some golden specs on it. "Cute." I'll go with this one.

Over it I'm wearing a white dress with dark blue stripes on it. My hair is nicely done in a curly ponytail with my sunglasses resting on top of my head. I set down my mini backpack and sweater on my bed and wait for Midas.

I'm searching the computer for information on point 0.00, but nothing seems to pop up. Until I see this, when I search up zero point, an article by Wade Wilson pops up. I click on it but before I can even read it, the doorbell rings. I get up and open up the door, "Hey Midas" I say, he's wearing a white polo shirt, navy blue shorts, and sunglasses. Clean.

"Good morning y/n," he lowers his glasses and inspects me, " You look lovely. " He smiles. I blush just a bit.

"Thank you sir, same goes for you." I say trying to get my stuff together. He then lifts his hand up to me.

" Shall we leave? " He questions. Before taking his hand I reach for my possessions. Ugh.

"Yes we shall."

When we get there we sit at the bar and wait for everybody else while talking. "Hey Midas would you mind giving me a tour of Marigold before everyone else comes? Unless you're busy." I ask.

" That's a great idea, come I'll show you around. " He takes me by the hand and we go inside "This is a golden statue of myself when I was younger." He says while showing me the great structure.

"Woah. That's amazing." I say amused, it's completely gold must've cost a heck of a lot of money.

Midas still holds me even though the tour is over, then two voices catch us off guard.

"Hey guys," Skye says excitedly. "What's up" says Maya.

Midas and I quickly let go and welcome them.

"You two are cute together." Skye says playfully. Midas gives her a glare. Next come Meowscles, Lynx, and Tek. In the distance a boat is seen coming.

"Hey looks like the final people are coming." I say and then my mouth drops open. Is it really?

I run up to Drift, who is equally surprised as I am, and hug him tightly. "Drift I've missed you so much! I didn't know you worked at the agency!"

" Yeah, long time no see huh? I missed you too." He says and embraces me more. Midas then taps me on the shoulder with his finger so I take my hands off Drift.
