As Midas and I are taking care of my mother's garden, I feel someone staring at me. I turn around to see Midas smiling, "Midas what are you doing?" I question and his face flushes.
"Something," he says and he twirls my hair, "I just can't believe it's been a month. I'm lucky to have someone so special like you." He nuzzles my nose with his. Aw!
"Aw. I love you too." And then I start laughing. "You're so adorable." He looks at me annoyed and so I hug him. ... I wake up tiredly and out of breath. Last night was crazy... I could still feel his body on top of mine. I look over to Midas who is still sleeping soundly. I gently kiss him, "Sunshine, wake up," I say sweetly. "Happy anniversary."
His eyes flutter open, "Ah! Good morning M'lady!" He kisses me, "Happy anniversary to the most wonderful woman in the entire world! " we kiss again. "Ready for your surprise today?" He asks, I nod.
After we get dressed we go inside Midas' white Tesla. "So, where are we going?"
"Well if I told you it would ruin the surprise." He takes one hand from the wheel and boops my nose, "Right? " he smiles.
"Oh yeah," I laugh and he turns up the radio.
Ten minutes later we park in front a tattoo shop, "Tattoos!" I say excitedly to him. He nods.
"Since you've been talking about getting one, I thought we could get matching ones." He says, "Unless you're scared." He lifts up and eyebrow and smirks.
"I'm not scared." He looks at me curiously, "Maybe a little." I mumble and he laughs.
"Don't worry I've done this many times before, it's just minimal pain." Alright.
We walk in and the artist asks us what tattoo we would like. I said a rose with an M at its side. Midas asks for the same but with my initial.
Right now I'm waiting for the tattoo artist to get the materials sorted out. "Okay let's start." He says and he starts off.
"Oh hijo de su-" I yelp and bite my lip trying to conceal my pain. Oh that doesn't feel that bad. Actually feels nice. "Oh shit!" No nope!
After a two minutes it stops hurting and I can relax. ... "That didn't even hurt." I say amused looking at the newly imprinted ink on my wrist. I love it(rose at the bottom but it would look better).

"I told you." Midas says and I kiss him.
"Thanks."
"We're not done yet. I have more surprises in store for you." Oh. ...
We stopped again, this time at the lake. Wow! It's so vast. "Surprise!" Midas says and I hug him. "I knew you would like it here. "
"Yeah I've always wanted to have a date outdoors. It's just so peaceful that way." I kiss his cheek. "I love it. But I love you even more."
