Chapter 2 - Quirk Assesment Test

I walk around the corner and spot the sign marked 1-A. I walk in front of the oversized door and take a breath.

I push it open and see the angry blonde from the entrance exam, with his feet on his desk. There is an enthusiastic pink girl chatting with what seems to be a human-frog hybrid and a person with purple hair and earphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. On the far side of their circle is a girl with a big ponytail and a face that is visibly cute to anyone with eyes. I notice a thing, not even 4 feet tall, with purple balls on its head, ogling at the girl with the ponytail's chest.

Shoji is sitting right at the front. I step towards him and greet him as a friend.

We've known each other for a long time, and he went to my previous school. I wasn't extremely close with him, but he is a good friend. We talk, and he tells me that the strange girl Mei also got into UA in the support course.

I look back over to the 'thing' and it's still staring at that poor girl. I ask Shoji if he knows her name, and he makes an ear on the end of his arm and listens to them.

"Yaoyorozu." He relays.

I don't waste a second and I stand up and walk over to their group.

I loiter around the outside of the circle, but they notice me, and turn around to face me. The pink girl gives a large smile.
I turn to the girl that was getting looked at.

"Yaoyorozu?" I say calmly, even though I'm panicking on the inside. Girls are not a strong suit of mine.

Her eyes widen and she blushes, not expecting to be made the subject.

"Y-Yes?" She asks, startled.

"I think you should take note of who's looking at your... features," I try to talk with a hint of class "Knee high over there has been some ogling you since he walked in."

Yaoyorozu blushes intensely and the purple haired girl has a look of anger on her face. She shoots one of her jacks into the ear of the short person.

He screeches and looks at the culprit for his pain.

"Pervert." She tells him, before he turns around in defeat and saunters to his desk.
I make a bold move (for my unsociable ass anyway) and ask a question.

"Can I get the rest of your names?" I try to act cool, but inside I'm panicking immensely. I expect the worst, but I'm pleasantly surprised when the nice pink girl introduces me to them all.

"I'm Mina Ashido!" She beams. "I can create acid that melts things! This is Tsuyu Asui,"

"Call me Tsu" the frog girl adds.

"She can do almost anything a frog can!"

"Toru Hagakure," she points to some floating clothes which I didn't notice initially.

"Momo Yaoyorozu, who can make anything!" pointing to the girl I had already spoke to.

"And Kyōka Jirō! Who's got headphone jacks under her ears!" The earphone girl hides her face as Mina introduces her.

"What about you?" She asks.

"Y/N L/N, but you can call me Y/N. My quirk lets me slow down time." I give them a smile before I wander back to
Shoji. He looks at me, and although his face is covered by the mask, I can tell by his eyes that he is stifling laughter at my discomfort.

*Momo's POV*

I watch him as he walks back to the front of the classroom. I know he didn't have to tell me about that weirdo, but he did. I guess this shows that he wants to be friends? Or is he just a nice person? I'm not really sure.
