Wonyoung x Male reader- My one and only

"Wow she's still here?"
"I'm impressed she still dares to show her face here after everything that's happened."
Gossips were heard as Wonyoung tried to walk to her classroom calmly without reacting to the harsh comments.
Recently, her group was targeted with criticisms since the news of vote manipulation on Mnet shows was investigated and was found out to be true.
It was already bad enough to be reading online hate comments but to hear them closely not to mention in her own school.....
It hurt, a lot but she couldn't do anything about it.
As the poor girl made her way into her class, judgemental faces were all looking at her.
"What's she doing here?"
"Looks like she's more thick skinned then I thought."
Wonyoung still tried to stay strong as she pretended not to listen to the gossips.
That was until some people decided to take things too far.....
Smack
The girl jumped in shock after some of her classmates banged her table and decided to gang up on her.
"W-What do u guys want?" Wonyoung asked, making the bullies laugh.
"Yah, u seriously still dare to show up after what the news reported? We knew something was up the moment u were announced as the winner of the show." One of them said.
"That's right, u did so badly on the show yet u ranked first? What a load of crap that is, guess karma got u right now huh." Another bully said as the entire class laughed.
The poor girl tried hard not to react to the bullies but couldn't take it anymore as her tears started falling.
"Aww is the "victim" crying right now? Go home to your mummy instead."
The entire class laughed even louder as Wonyoung started bursting into tears.

"That's enough!"
The entire class went silent after that.
All eyes landed on one person who dared to command the bullies.
"Can't u tell she wasn't the one who did it? Stop thinking u guys know everything about this and just live your own lives instead!"
The bullies obviously didn't like what they heard as they held the person by the collar.
"Repeat that again. Son Y/N!"
Wonyoung raised her head and looked at me the intense atmosphere right in front of her.
"I'm telling u to leave Wonyoung alone!" U shouted, making the bullies even more enraged then they already were.
One of them was about to punch u until u saw Wonyoung running out of the classroom still crying.
U then pushed the bully away as u ran after the crying girl.
But when u ran out, she was nowhere to be seen.
"Where did she go?"
U walked around the entire school but still to no avail.
That was until u heard sobbing near u.
U followed the sound as u saw Wonyoung crying under a tree in the school garden.
"Wonyoung....."
The girl heard u as she looked at u with puffy eyes.
"Y/N~ it hurts.... a lot..." She said while crying once more as u hugged her in attempt to calm her down.
"Let it all out, u'll feel better."

It took a while but Wonyoung stopped crying.
U had never seen her so depressed before.
Even if she had hardly attended class due to her schedules, she was always cheerful and smiling in class.
When u first saw her, u thought she was the most beautiful girl to ever exist.
But as always, u had no courage to even approach her and talk to her.
It felt like she knew what was going on as she started talking to u first and eventually u guys became close.
When she was not in school, u guys would text each other with u trying to encourage her whenever she felt stressed about her idol life.
Slowly, u wanted more....
Your mind started thinking more and more about Wonyoung each day.
Feelings were developed for her but u felt that u had no chance with her.
But right now, u wanted to help her not because u like her but as a close friend.
"They... they were right, I didn't deserve to debut in the first place... let alone attaining the center position..." Wonyoung said while u could feel that she was about to cry once again.
"I-I wanted for myself not to be affected by this.... but.." Tears started falling once more as u heard whimpers from the girl.
She then felt something on her face as her tears were wiped away.
"Wonyoung, people can say what they want but u should never think lowly of yourself. U and the girls achieved what u have so far purely through hard work. Let those idiots say what they want but only u know how hard u worked to get here." U said as the girl looked at u.
"And if u need someone to lean on, I'm here for u. Or maybe if u also need someone to vent your frustrations on, do it on me." U said, making a smile form on the bunny girl's face.
U smiled upon knowing that your attempt to cheer the girl up worked.
"See you're smiling again. U should smile more, u look great when u smile."
Wonyoung smiled even wider after hearing your compliment.
"Thank u Y/N... it's really great with u by my side.."
Your face went red after hearing that as u moved your head away, making the bunny laugh cutely at u.
"At least she's laughing now."
U and Wonyoung made your way out of school after class was over even though the both of u had to wait for the rest to go first.
"Is there anywhere u wanna go now?" U asked Wonyoung.
"I am kinda hungry..." She said while pouting.
"Cute..."
"Alright then let's go." U said while holding her hand.
A blush formed on her face as u continued holding her hands.
Timeskip
"Wow, her group's in trouble and she's here eating with her friend?"
"Some guts she has."
Right now, u and Wonyoung were in some restaurant u found but still couldn't eat in peace due to the constant insult from the customers around the both of u.
U tried to signal them to shut up by glaring at them but it didn't work.
Harsh words were still thrown towards the poor girl as she looked down.
"Hey u alright? Should we just eat elsewhere instead?" U asked as she shaked her head.
"It's alright, I'm fine..."
U knew that she wasn't fine with all the comments u were hearing now.
Wonyoung suddenly felt her being dragged out of the restaurant with u holding her hands once again.
"Hey I wasn't done eating there. Where are u bringing me?"
"Even if u're able to continue eating there, I won't be able to. Those people sicken me." U said without turning back.
A smile appeared on her face after hearing what u had said.
