A New Beginning

Chapter 6

     The following morning, Poe got up to find Rey sitting there. It was early in the morning. "Can't sleep?" Poe asked. "Yeah, I haven't been able to sleep a whole lot anymore," she replied. "Why not?" Poe asked as he sat down next to her. "I worry too much. I worry about my children, about how they won't have a father." Rey told him on the verge of tears. "Well help you, I'll help you," Poe said taking her hand. He sat there with her and let her cry. Finn walked in the room to find them sitting there holding hands, and Rey laying her head on Poe's shoulder. "Hope I'm not interrupting something," Finn replied. "No, Poe and I were just talking. Let's go start your training," Rey said as she got up and wiped tears from her eyes.

     Rey was watching Finn running his training course and he seemed tense and angry. "Relax Finn, concentrate. You seem tense." Rey told him as he was shot by the training droid. "I'm trying," he told her angrily. "You seem angry, stop.." Rey started but was rudely interrupted by Finn. "No!" He screamed. "Stop now!!" Rey screamed as she grabbed the droid with the force, pulling it from him. "What's wrong?" She asked concerned. "Nothing," he replied not looking at her. " Finn, you seem angry. Anger is the path to the dark side. You must learn to control it." Rey told him. "I know. Let's keep going." Finn told her. "Finn, talk to me. I sense...." Rey started but was interrupted when Finn turned around and screamed, "I said NO!!!!!" All of a sudden he threw her back with the force to the ground. Poe heard Rey scram as he rushed outside to see what was going on. "Rey!" He screamed as he saw her on the ground.

     "What happened?" Poe asked as he rushed to her side. "Ouch. Whoa. Ahh," Rey cried as she was clearly in pain. "What's wrong?" He asked concerned. "Just cramps," she told him as she clutched her belly. "What happened?" He asked for a second time, not seeming to get an answer out of her for the first time. "Finn.....went crazy. He got....angry," she told him in between wincing and breathing. Poe helped her up. "Finn!" Rey shouted. But he was gone. "Finn!! Ahhh!!" Rey shouted in pain as she went unconscious.

A.N. Cliffhanger!!!! Sorry for not posting over the weekend. I was extremely busy. Anyways I will be posting the next chapter tomorrow. Stay tuned and find out what happens next!!! Any predictions??
