Poe was anxiously waiting in the waiting room of the Naboo hospital. Naboo was the closest planet to Tatooine. (A.N. I did my research😉) Chewie and BB-8 stayed with the ship. Poe got up to go check on Rey when a nurse came and told him he go see her now. He followed the nurse to the room Rey was in. He saw the doctor sitting in a chair next to the hospital bed where Rey was laying. She was just starting to wake up.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" Poe asked. "Okay, I guess. I just have this aching pain in my belly." Rey told him. "That's normal," the doctor started. "I'm Dr. Stephano, and I think your husband should sit down ma'am. We have a lot to talk about." "Oh, he's not my husband." Rey told her, "Just a friend." "Well, your "friend" has told me what happened, and I have some bad news for you. One of your babies has died due to the trauma of the incident." The doctor started.
"No. No. No," Rey said as she started sobbing. Poe comforted her as the doctor continued. "It wasn't as developed as its twin, and was very small. Smaller than it should've been by then. When you were thrown back, the smaller one could not handle the impact of the fall, and was injured. When you woke up, and got up and started bleeding and cramping bad, the baby had died then. Your body will take care of it naturally because the baby had hardly developed. But, you will experience cramping for a little while until your body adjusts. You need lots of rest. Also, you have been tracking your pregnancy wrong. Your 7 months, not 6 months. And, the baby would've died anyway, once you gave birth to it. It wasn't growing like it should've. You are free to go whenever you're ready. Take care." The doctor told them as she left.
Rey was sitting there crying, still in shock about what she had just heard. "Hey," Poe started taking her hand, "it's going to be okay." A nurse came and told Poe that he needed to go pay at the front desk. "I'll be right back," he told Rey as he left.
A.N. Sorry for not posting yesterday! I was busy babysitting. I had to do lots of research for this chapter, so everything the doctor said can happen. (I'm pretty sure😬) anyways hope your enjoying! Also, yes Rey's pregnancy is going pretty fast. See ya tomorrow! (Hopefully😬)
