Chapter 41

We walked into the room where people who had passed went to, looking around.

Everyone else was looking around for one one for our class, but I was looking for a certain someone....

"Shoto!" I exclaimed, speeding over to him, not noticing another student look my way. "You passed!"

He saw me and sent a small grin my way before the others made their way over.
"Todoroki, you passed!" Yaoyorozu said with a grin.
"Didn't expect any less." Tsu commented.
"What about the others?" Jiro asked.

"They haven't come yet. I was the first, and then you all." Shoto said in his monotone voice.
"I see. They're not here yet, huh?" Shoji said.
"Weren't you all working together?" Shoto asked.

"We were, but someone from Ketsubutsu Academy split us up with their quirk." I said taking off my helmet.
"Thirty people left...." Yaoyorozu muttered, us falling into silence to wonder if anyone else was going to pass.

"Oh look, three more people have passed, oh and they're from Ketsubutsu Academy." Mera said through the intercom. "Anyway, 76 people has passed, we will be at capacity soon."

I bit my lip, watching the tv in the large room and listening closely to whenever Mera talked through the intercoms.

Me and the others had put the balls we had back and taken the targets off with a special key, so we were officially in for the next round.

"We're now at 79 people. We're moving fast at a good pace."

'So six more people have passed, three from Ketsubutsu, but what about the other three?' I thought, thinking back to those three that almost got me out if I didn't use my ultimate move.

"Now, we had three people pass in succession, brining the total to 82, which means there are 18 spots left." Mera said through the intercom again, making me antsy.

Still no one from U.A. has came in yet, I was getting worried for them.

"Wooo! We did it!" I heard a familiar voice cry, making me turn my head slightly.

I caught sight of Nova, Hau and Ashton walking into the anteroom happily and a little beat up, and I quickly turned my head away to avoid meeting their gaze.

I shrugged and turned away to find the others, who were busy eating and drinking some of the refreshments that were put out for us. I snagged a cup of water and joined Tsu, Jiro and Yaoyorozu in greeting a few more people from our class.

"Everyone, I'm glad you are all safe! I was so worried." Yaoyorozu greeted with a grin.
"Yao-momo, we're safe, we're safe." Kaminari said with a grin. "Man, you guys were pretty fast!"
"We just finished. Todoroki was the fastest." Shoji replied as Jiro walked over.

"I thought Bakugo would definitely also be here already, but I see, it was because you were with him, Kaminari." Jiro said, making Kaminari pout.

I walked off to see Deku, Kirishima and Shoto talking.
"That makes twelve from Class A, huh?" Shoto said.
"Nine more to go." Deku whispered in concern.
"The last announcement said there were 18 spots left...." Yaoyorozu muttered and I gulped.

"Okay, eight people just passed all at once! There are ten spots left!" Mera announced.
All of us shared a glance, would everyone from our class be able to pass? Or will some of us fail?

"Two more have passed! Eight left!" Mera announced.

I could feel everyone in the anteroom staring at the screen with bated breath, waiting for the final moments to be over.
