P.o.v. Neji
I take Shikamaru into the bathroom. He seems lost in thought. The expression on his face makes me think he's trying to figure out what to say to me.
"I'd like to ask you something, if you don't mind, Shikamaru." I say with authority.
He nods, telling me to go on.
"You seem distressed today. You've been acting strangely ever since we came inside. What's up with you?" I probe at him, hoping he'll open up to me.
He frowns.
"I already don't like this, it's a drag when I can't understand my own feelings. And I'd like to think I'm a simple guy.." He trails off, and I wait for him to continue.
He furrows his brow and sighs. "Neji, I really don't know how to answer. I can't tell you my feelings, because I myself don't know what they are. But, I can tell you this."
He sits on the edge of the bathtub and rests his head in his hands.
"Whenever I'm around Naruto, I get a weird feeling. It's almost like I'm flying.. Or more accurately, falling. My stomach.. Butterflies I guess. I find myself losing control. I get this urge that I can't really describe."
"When he opened the door, all I could do was stare. I was in awe of him, and I don't even know why. It's like, all I want to do is be around him.."
I think over it for a moment as he slumps even more, looking confused and annoyed.
I wonder.. Is it possible that he..?

"Shikamaru, have you considered that you may be in love with Naruto?"
