Te'a
"Hey Te'a!" I heard from behind me. I was walking to my last class, and was almost late but it'd be worth it to talk to her.
"Hey Royce! Wassup?" I said, stopping so she could catch up with me.
"Nothing much, where are you headed?"
"To bio" I said, throwing my head back as she laughed.
"Good luck there, but I was wondering if you wanna hang out after your classes?"
I felt my heart race.
"U-Uh yeah.. for sure. Um this is my last class and I get out at 4."
"Cool, so I'll come to your dorm around 4:15?"
"Yeah.." I said softly.
"Great! Okay, see you then." She said, smiling and walking away.
"Shit... Te'a what the fuck was that" I said, talking to myself as I walked into my class.
*After class*
I walked back to my dorm, freaking out.
"Well what the fuck do I do?" I stressed on the group facetime with me, my sister Imani, and my brothers Sharife and Omar.
"Just be normal. Duh."
"Mmm I think you like this girl." Imani said.
"Me? LIke a girl? No. No." I said.
"That's the vibe I'm getting but okay, go awf" Omar said.
"Yeah Te'a, you might as well gon head and accept it."
"We're just friends. And that's all we're gonna be." I said.
"Nobody stresses like this over a hangout with a friend." Sharife said.
I rolled my eyes, walking in my dorm.
"I promise, I don't like this girl." I said, setting my books down.
Then, I heard a knock and I jumped.
"Shit, she's here. Do I look okay?" I said, looking in the camera.
"Damn, who is this girl that got you acting like this?" Omar said as I opened the door.
"Hey! You ready?" Royce asked,
"Yeah, hold on lemme go get my bag" I said, letting her in.
When I got back to my room, I put my hands on my head looking at the camera.
"My heart's beating out of my chest" I whispered.
"Bye, go hang with your girlfriend" Mani said as they all hung up. It's weird how they're all in a car but.. whatever.
I put some deodorant on, rebrushed my teeth, and put some gum in before grabbing my bag and walking out.
"Hey, I'm ready. Sorry for taking so long. My siblings didn't want me off the phone" I said, laughing nervously.
"It's all good" She smiled at me.
We got in the car, and we went to the mall.
We walked around for a bit, laughing and stuff when my phone started blowing up.
"I'm sorry" I said, furrowing my eyebrows, wondering why.
Mia: Turn around
After that one, I freaked out figuring out what the other ones are.
"Noooo" I groaned out.
"You good?" Royce asked me.
"U-Uh yeah.. um my family just decided to pop up... here." I said, facepalming myself.
