trigger warning: homophobic language

Billie had stayed the night with Jen, their bodies intertwined in her double bed as Jen caressed her skin. The sun was beginning to rise as the faint chatter of Jen's friends and many acquaintances echoed around the house.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Billie questioned, referring to Jen's debut single release. Truth be told, Jen hadn't given it much thought. She'd been so caught up with her own drama that the thought of her releasing her own music hadn't quite dawned on her just yet.

"I'm much more excited now that I have you by my side for it," Jen smiled, pressing a small kiss on her nose.

Billie giggled softly, not wanting the moment to end.

But it had to.

After a blissful evening, both girls knew that soon they would have to address the elephant in the room.

Billie had a boyfriend.

Neither one wanted to bring it up first.

That was until Billie's manager sent her a video of Jen and Billie that had leaked online.

"Shit shit shit shit," Billie mumbled, dropping her phone onto the bed and rubbing her temples.

Her mind began to race after she watched the video, her green rooted head making out with Jen. She couldn't say it wasn't her, it was obvious that it was.

Billie didn't have many options.

"What's up?" Jen asked in a concerned manner as a tear slipped from Billie's eye.

"Fuck," Billie yelled before standing up and beginning to pace. "Someone recorded us fucking kissing and it's blew up online."

Jen's heart sank as Billie said this. She stood up, grabbing Billie in order to stop her from walking aimlessly up and down the room and looking into her eyes. Jen knew how terrified she had been initially coming out to her friends and family, she couldn't imagine having to come out to millions of people after being outed online.

"What?"

"Danny just sent me a link to some kid's tweet of us kissing. It's been reposted literally every fucking where," Billie whimpered, leaning her head into Jen's chest as Jen rubbed her back soothingly.

"Call your managers back, they'll know what to do. Then come and find me and we'll figure out where we wanna go from here, and then we'll deal with Gabe. Sound good?"

"You always know what to say."

"It's a talent of mine," Jen smiled, kissing Billie's temple and rubbing her arm comfortingly. "I'll give you some privacy, just let me know if you need anything."

[LOCKDOWN LOVER]

Danny and Brandon gave her three options as her representatives.

1) Deny, deny, deny. Say that it wasn't her. It was just another girl in Los Angeles with green hair.

2) Come out. Tell the world that Billie and Jen had been seeing each other.

3) It was a mistake. Hold onto Gabe for dear life and make a post saying that it was a drunken mistake. Of course, Gabe would be paid off for keeping quiet about it all and Billie would have to live a lie until their "breakup".

None of them sounded like a good idea.

Jen and Billie had taken an uber back to Finneas' home where Billie sat with Claudia, hashing through just what Billie should do.
