Brian Mandeville's POV

"Good afternoon, everyone," Anna greeted them in a polite way. I chuckled as I saw Sentor Dayanara's brows frowned, annoyed by Anna's presence.

Anna is looking simple and warm in her white square tank top that shows her white glowy skin. And her ash blue fitted midi skirt with slit makes our outfit more affiliated.

"Oh, Anna Huangco. Daughter of Vice President Harold Huangco," Governor Luis stated.

"The one that left behind in their family of politicians due of showbiz," Senator Dayanara joined.

I suddenly felt awkward for Anna, talking about her relationship with her family. She removed her hand on mine, as I put my hands on her back waist and close my mouth to her ears to whisper.

"Let's go?"

She smiled on them and excuse herself then walk away. I saw senator Dayanara hiding her smirk. I also bid a goodbye before following Anna and quietly following her at her back  with a little space. I was alarmed when she's about to collide a reporter, so I immediately grab her arm and her back suddenly bumped on my chest. I hold her both shoulders to support.

"Are you ok?" I asked worriedly.

"Yeah, thanks," she said then plastered a smile on me.

"Come on," I said and accompany her through outside the hall.

I bring her to the entertainment area in the lobby and let her rest there for a while. I saw her removing her white pointed heels and place it on one side. I sat on a single couch right adjacent to her.

"Do you want me to call your manager or assistant?" I asked.

"Hindi na. We need to go back there tho," she said and lean her back.

"Is your dad inside?" I asked again.

"I don't know. Hindi ko naman sya nakita," she answered then shrugged.

"If you don't mind, ano ba talaga nangyare?" I asked out of curiosity. "Is there something that happened? Or they just don't treat you right because of what you choose?"

"Both," she simply answered.

"What do you mean?" I asked, not getting her point.

"If they don't treat me right, then it is the something that happened. If there's something happened, then probably they'll not treat me right," she said which make sense.

"Don't answer in sarcastic way to avoid the conclusion, Anna," I warned her. It gives me relief when she pouted her lips which means she's getting exceptional.

Just a few moments then we decided to went back inside the hall. As we enter, exactly the program was about to start. Anna and I stitted right to each other with her manager and assistant while on my other side is Amelia.

Usual things in media launch happened. Promote the movie, the press would ask some questions and they will answer, and all that could happen. After the pres conference, there been a small gathering for some business, political and associate behind showbiz.

"Hey," Anna called me. "Busy ka mamaya?"

"No. Bakit?" I asked. We're standing beside a cocktail table.

"Let's have dinner? With Ashley?" She asked. My brows rose up, shock from her sudden proposal.

"Uhm, yeah sure?" I answered with doubt. "Saan ba?"

"I know a seafood restaurant. Ok lang?" She asked.

"Yeah. Ashley would probably love it. Why all of a sudden?" I asked with my brows furrowed up.
