Brianna Huangco's POV

I woke up with no Brian beside me. I just pressume that he already went to his work early in the morning. I went to the bathroom and do my morning routine and headed to the kitchen to prepare breakfast when I saw Brian posted a note on the refrigerator.

No need to bring lunch. I'll be there before dinner.

I smiled. He could have just message me or call me but he insist to made a note instead. Though, it'll be boring since it says that I don't need to bring him a lunch and I don't have anything to do today but to stay inside my unit. It's almost a month since the last time I brought him one and I actually felt a missed doing that.

I just toasted a bread and bring it to the sala to entertain myself a bit while having my breakfast. I was just watching all along until lunch time when my phone suddenly beeped beside me. And there, I just realized that I haven't visiting my social accounts for a while.

I was drinking a water when I read manager Kim's email. I'm about to blow out all the water inside my mouth when I saw his news. I caugh as I manage to swallow the water but had a hard time due of bombshell.

"What the fuck!?" I bawl.

I opened the article that Manager sent to me and accurately, it's todays issue that Katrina is pregnant. It is just posted earlier but...God, It already took a lot of views.

I immediately call Katrina to asked her about the news. Is this the reason why she's craving a lot yesterday and her tummy is getting bigger? My gosh! She should have just told me instead.

Katrina wasn't married yet for pete's sake. I don't know how this things happened so I'm expecting her to deny it but opposed of it was happened.

"Damn! Are you serious, Katrina?" I asked her through phone call.

[Yes. And don't think na hindi ko sinabi kahapon. Kanina ko lang nalaman,] she said in a low tone. I suddenly felt guilt of shouting her. I should have understand more mostly when she's pregnant. Of course she's in a sensitive situation.

"I'm sorry." I sighed and brush my hair with my hand out of frustration. "What about the father? Sino? Does he know it already? Oh yes, of course he is-"

[I'm scared, Anna,] she cut me off. I stunned for a moment, waiting to sink in all the assumptions.

"Don't tell me hindi niya pananagutan ang bata?" I asked yet it's already obvious. I feel my blood headed up out of anger as I heard her sobs. "Where are you?" I asked with emphasis.

"Nasa labas ako ng bahay nya." She let out an air to probably calm herself. "He keep on refusing it, Anna. Hindi ko na rin alam saan ako pupunta. Natatakot akong umuwi sa bahay."

"Okay, okay, Kat. I'll go there, wait for me, okay?" Hindi ko na sya hinintay magsalita at binaba na ang tawag para makapag bihis na.

I drove as fast as I can, afraid that the press con might get ahead of me. It triggers me more when I got stuck in the middle of traffic. But later on, nawala na din ang traffic. Good thing that Katrina's stupid mother fucking ex lives in a private village so they can't easily allow anyone to enter. But because I'm a Huangco, of course I can get in easily. Bullshit presumption.

Just a few kilometers, I can now see Katrina on his knees and crying. I parked the car in front of her, making her realize that I'm already here. She immediately enter my car and buckled her seatbelt. I take a look at the house for a moment and realized it was a bit familiar.

"Anna, tara na," Kat reminded me. I just take a last glance to the house then I start driving.

"Sino ba 'yong lalaking 'yon!? Walang pakundangan, grabe! Walang konsiderasyon!" I howl. "Nako, Kat, I'm telling you...I'm telling you...pag-naku! Ayan talaga! Sinasabi ko sayo, Kat!"
