"Hawks! Stop! We're on patrol, d***it!" I scold my flirty boyfriend as he tries to kiss the back of my neck. "Come on, Phoenix. Don't be too harsh! It's a patrol. Nothing big is gonna happen." Keigo says with a smirk. "And we're on a rooftop. No one would see us." He states with a wink and I give him an annoyed look. "Don't jinx us, Kei. I want a calm day today." I state with a sigh before walking past him and jumping off the roof as I spread my huge fiery wings. "Wanna go grab some chicken for lunch after patrol's over? It's been a little bit since we had a nice date." Keigo asks as he flies on his back and looks up at me as I look down at him. "I'm sorry, Kei, but I still have a lot of stuff to unpack and Shota's coming over to help." I say with a slight frown to him and he sighs. "How about we have a dinner date before our afternoon patrol tonight? My treat.~" I say with a smile as I lower towards him as he slightly pouts. "Can I get extra chicken and kisses?" He asks and I nod my head with a smile before bopping his nose. "You know if you cancel on him we could just stay in my office and mess around the desk.~" Keigo states and I flushed a dark red as my wings go a bright blue. "HAWKS!?" I screech in a flustered panic as I cover my face with my hands. "What? I meant kissing you." He says with a "innocent" smile as he looks at me. "What did you think I meant?~" he asks with a smirk, clearly knowing what I was thinking of, and I clear my throat nervously as I angle away from him. Brinnng! My earpiece goes off and I clicked the button and answer. "Phoenix here, what's up?" I ask and get a chuckle from the caller. "Is that really how you ask what emergencies are going on?" Shota asks with a smile I know he probably has. "Hello to you too, Sho." I state with a smile and (e/c) eye roll. "I'm at your apartment. Do I use the spare or wait for you to get here?" Shota asks. "Use the spare. I'll be there in...ten?...fifteen?...minutes." I state and hear his hum for a reply. "Okay. Don't rush." Shota states before he hangs up. "Homeless already at your apartment?" Keigo asks with a slight annoyed look. "Yeah. Yes, he may look rough but he's not homeless, Kei. Don't be too mean." I say with a small laugh and he huffs lightly as he deploys a few feathers below us and saves a kid from getting hit by a truck. "If you're not careful, chicky, I'm gonna be in the charts before you." Keigo says with a smile and I roll my eyes as I smile. "Well than I'll be your sidekick until I surpass you." I state with crossed arms and he laughs after a moment. "What's so funny?" I ask him as we land on the roof of his agency. "I'd have the hottest sidekick in all of Japan." He states before he quickly pulls me into a sweet and loving kiss. "Why thank you. I'd be a sidekick under one of the hottest heroes ever." I say before turning to a teasing expression "Now was that a kiss because you love me or you're jealous that Shota's coming over?" I ask and he chuckles. "Both." He states and I roll my eyes playfully as I poke his nose before walking towards the door. "I love you too. Stay safe. Call me if you need anything." I state as I stand at the open door. "My office is still an option.~" he states with a smirk and I chuckle at him before giving a small salute and walking towards the locker room. I quickly change into a pair of ripped blue jeans, white shoes, and a purple shirt before putting my costume in my backpack that I carry with me in case of emergencies. "Such a simple outfit and you still look so hot." A flirty voice says as I walk out and I turn my head to see Keigo still in his hero costume. "I'm sorry, Mister Hawks, but I thought you were dating Miss Phoenix and I don't think she'd like you flirting with another girl." I say with a smirk and he grins at me. "Touché. Stay safe, baby. Love you." He says as he kisses the top of my head before he walks away while my feather necklace floats and tickles the side of my neck. I grin mischievously as I quickly ruffle the feather and see him visibly stiffen at the other end of the hall. Making him turn around and giving me a teasing glare while I whistle innocently before giving a small wave as I walk out of the building. I love that feathered goofball. I think with a smile as I walk down the street and towards my new apartment. It's a two room apartment with a full and half bath, small kitchen, living room, and two bedrooms. I make a good pay and the government also chose it for me. Hooray (Note the sarcasm). "You're slow. You know that, right?" Shota asks from my small couch as I take my shoes off at my door. "If I was allowed to fly I'd have got here a whole lot quicker. But that's illegal and I don't need to get in trouble." I state with hands on my hips as I look at him. "Your room's a wreck." He states and I roll my eyes. "It's called a process of unpacking. Stuff seems to get messier instead of neater." I state as I walk towards the mentioned room and turn on the light. "So where do we start?" Shota asks as he steps over a half empty box.
