14-Baby!

~Hawks POV~

I shift a little as I start to wake up from the loud morning alarm. That honeymoon may have been for a whole month...but it sure as heck wasn't long enough. I think with slight annoyance as I roll over and see my beautiful wife still sleeping.
I smile happily as I admire her faint fiery feathers wrapped around her as she sleeps, a few strands of (h/c) hair in her face, and how peaceful she looks.
I gently pull her closer to me as I breath in her sweet scent as I listen to her steady heartbeats through my feathers. Wait...heartbeats? I think in confusion as I stay still and listen closer.
(Y/n)'s got two heartbeats! My baby's pregnant! I think excitedly as I gently place a hand on her flat stomach. I'm gonna be a dad! I think with joy as I gently kiss her forehead.

~(Y/n) POV~

"Kei..." I whine as I pat around the empty spot on the bed as I wake up slightly. "Keigo?" I ask again as I slowly open my eyes and blink them tiredly as I look around before eyeing the clock.
"Oh f***!" I yell in a panic as I spring from my bed and quickly grab my hero gear. "KEIGO! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR WORK! WHERE-There you are." I stop when I spot him making breakfast in the kitchen as he just has on a pair of baggy sweatpants as his wings are open behind him while a few feathers grab ingredients and other things.
"You're not going to work for a while." Keigo states and I look at him confused.
"Why?" I ask before fumbling with the box he suddenly tossed at me. "A pregnancy test?" I question as I look between the box and my husband.
"I doubt my feathers are wrong, but it's a double check, and so that you know I'm not lying. But I'd never joke about you being pregnant. That'd be cruel." He states as he flips the pancake and smiles at me.
"I-I'm pregnant?" I ask him and he nods. I'm gonna be a mom? I think as I look at the box a little nervously as I walk to the bathroom.
After following the instructions and then waiting for a while {I don't know how pregnancy tests work, hang with me here}, I go and grab it.
I give a small smile as I read the results: Positive. I grab it and make my way back to Keigo in the kitchen who's humming happily to himself. "Keigo, I am pregnant." I state with a soft smile and he grins happily as he walks over to me and kisses me deeply and lovingly.
"You're gonna be even sexier as a mom." He states with a teasing smirk and I laugh at him as I lightly hit his chest with the back of my hand.
"Are we ready to be parents? We just got married six months ago." I ask him a little worriedly and he pulls me into a tight hug.
"We're gonna be great parents and we're gonna be here for each other. I promised you that when I married you. I'm not gonna leave you no matter what hell throws at us." He states with a gentle smile as he lightly holds his hand on my stomach and I place my hand on his.
"Thank you, Keigo." I say and he nods his head before kissing me deeply.
We break apart and he gives me a serious glare. "We're gonna have to have rules so you or Nugget don't get hurt." He states seriously and I stifle a laugh.
"You nicknamed our child Nugget?" I ask and he nods his head confidently.
"Of course I did! Now...rule #1- absolutely no flying! You're gonna get heavier and your wings will strain to hold you." He says and I groan in annoyance.
"But I love flying! The only time I don't fly is when I'm dead!" I state and he shoots me a small golden yellow glare.
"No flying or I'm gonna get you wing casts so you can't." He states and I huff as I grab a piece of paper and write it down with displeased look on my face.
"Rule #2- absolutely no hero work! We don't need you to have a miscarriage or to get hurt." He says and I plop down dramatically on the countertop.
"Pregnancy is gonna bore the f*** out of me." I grumble as I write down the rule.
"Rule #3- if anything at all feels wrong tell me right away and we'll go to a doctor." He says and I look at him a little confused. "The baby is definitely gonna have wings because we both do, and that might cause a few problems." He states and I stare at him in slightly panic and horror.
"Oh my gosh." I state as I run a hand through my hair.
     "But it'll be fine and I'll definitely make sure that you're both safe and good." He says as he walks over and hugs me tightly.
     "I know. But you're still gonna be late for work if you don't leave soon." I state with a teasing smile as peck his cheek as he grumbles in annoyance.
     "So you don't want breakfast?" He asks as he grabs the finished plate of food and heads away.
      "Wait wait wait! Who said I didn't want breakfast? I'm eating for two now." I state as I grab the plate and a fork before I start eating.
      "And yet you call me childish." Keigo grins as he looks at me while he puts on his hero costume.
      "Hmm." I hum at him with a funny look as my cheeks puff out from the food in them. "I can still go to work. I'll just do office work and stuff instead of hero work." I state and he sighs.
"I don't know, baby. We both make enough that only one of us would have to work and I really don't want anything to happen to the both of you." Keigo states and I look at him gently.
"If...if it'll make you feel better I'll stay here. But no promises that I won't complain about being bored." I say with a small teasing smile and earn a laugh from my blond husband.
"As expected of you, baby girl." He says with a smile as he holds my hips before kissing me. "Taste like syrup." He says with a small laugh as he licks his lips.
"You dork." I say with a small laugh and he grins.
"Text me anytime. I'll always make time for you." He says with a smile as he puts in his coat and then his boots at the balcony door.
"I will. Stay safe, Keigo. I love you." I say to him with a smile and he grins.
"I love you more, (Y/n) Takami." He states with love filled golden yellow eyes before flying through off the balcony.
     I'm so happy I married that man. I think lovingly as I stare after him before I finish my food.
"Now....what to do?~" I coo in curiosity as I look around our living area of our big apartment.
"Oh wait, I'm a giant f***ing book nerd and I have nine months of doing absolutely nothing!" I say to myself with a big grin as I walk towards the shared office that we have.
"Heck yeah." I state as I look over the many books, novels, and mangas that litter the shelves before I grab five of each and head back to the living room.
