12-Be Mine!

~(Y/n) POV~

     "You go left!" I say the trick words into the earpiece as I fly left instead of right.
     "On it, baby." Keigo replies and I lightly roll my eyes with a smile as we quickly surround the fleeing thief.
     "What's the rush? We just wanna talk." I state with a smile as I land in front of him.
     "Yeah. What Phoenix said." Keigo states as he lands behind the thief as he tries to turn around.
     "D*** heroes. Never let me do anything." The thief states with a huff as he crosses his arms as he pouts.
     "You put up a good chase. It's been a little bit since we had a challenge." I state with a smile as I handcuff the thief before taking him over to an arriving squad cruiser.
     "Did I ever tell you that you always look so sexy when arresting someone?" Keigo asks with a smirk as he pulls me into a side hug before he kisses the side of my head.
     A few weeks after I came back to life Hawks put me on as his first, even though he obviously wouldn't need one, sidekick. But as we started to fight together more people considered us hero partners (which was what was originally planned by the government) instead of me being his sidekick.
      Then at the next hero ranking poll we were both dubbed as the number two heroes since I basically always helped with his victories and saves.
     "Hawks! Phoenix! Can you answer a few questions?" A news reporter and cameraman asks and we turn our heads toward him.
     "Might as well." Keigo says with a sigh and I roll my eyes lightly.
     "You've been partners for a full year and seem to be more than just hero partners, are you two dating? If so, how long have you known each other? Do you think you'll get married? How many kids would you want?" The reporter asks into her recorder before pointing it back at us.
     "We met six years ago and started dating. But started long distance dating when she had to go across Japan for five years due to family matters." Keigo explains and I nod.
     That's the cover story we made for the public for if we ever got these questions.
     "And marriage?" The reporter presses and I glance at him and he nods with a grin.
     "He's not proposed to me yet but he did give me a promise ring." I state and the reporter gushes excitedly.
     "Hawks, do you plan on proposing to her soon?" The reporter asks and I look over at Keigo smuggly.
     "Yes, Hawks, do you plan on proposing soon?~" I coos at him and he rolls his golden yellow eyes before he quickly steals a kiss from my lips and I freeze in place from surprise.
     "I definitely will propose to her sometime...but I won't say when." Keigo states as he looks at me amused as I lightly touch my lips.
     "Kids?" The reporter asks and Keigo grins.
     "Kids kids kids....How many kids, Phoenix?~" Keigo coos as he looks over at me with a suggestive look as he wiggles his eyebrows and I flush.
      "Well um...if they act like you, one is all we'll be able to handle." I state with a teasing smile and he pouts at me.
     "You're so mean to me, Phoenix." Keigo states as he holds where his heart is with a hand.
     "Do you two live together?" The reporter asks and gets our attention once more.
     "Yep. And it's time I get this beautiful bird home." Keigo states with a smirk as he picks me up bridal style, making my wings flop down limply.
     "H-Hawks!" I exclaim flusterdly as I look at him.
     "Hope you enjoyed the mini interview. But we gotta fly." Keigo says with a smirk as he boosts us high into the air with a strong flap of his wings.
     "You're naughty sometimes, you know that?" I says as I lightly point at him with a teasing glare.
     "Me? Never.~" he says innocently as he glances at me before he heads towards our giant apartment.
     "Want some rice and sweet chicken?" I ask as I make my way towards the kitchen as he lands on our balcony and sets me down.
     "No." Keigo says and I stop in my tracks as I turn around to face him. "I'll order something and we can relax. Our two week vacation starts today, remember?" He says and I rack my brain until I removed the conversations had a month ago.
     "Oh, yeah. For our anniversary." I say and he nods.
     "Come on. Let's have a relaxing bath." He says with a smirk as he shoos me towards the giant bathroom.
     "Can we at least order food first? We just had a hard day at work and I'm tired." I state with a quirked eyebrow at him and he chuckles before grabbing his phone.
     "So sweet chicken and rice for you?" He asks and I nod my head as I head towards the bathroom.
I grab some (f/c) panties, then steal one of Keigo's black tank tops, a towel, and then heading towards the bathroom.
I start to take off my hero costume but stop when I hear a fox whistle and turn my head to see Keigo staring at me with a lustful smirk.
"I'll never get over how hot you are. Literally and because of your quirk." He states and I laugh lightly at his comment.
"Thanks, Keigo. I'll never get over how sexy you look with that stubble." I state with a smirk as I lightly grab his chin before I give him a quick kiss.
Ding! Ding! The doorbell chimes and he sighs with a smirk. "To be continued." He states and I chuckle before finishing getting undressed before starting to adjust the water to a nice temperature, even though if it gets cold I can just reheat it with my wings.
"It's setting in the oven for after we're done." Keigo says with a smile as he walks in and sees me settling into the water. "Wanting a show?" He teases as he wiggles his eyebrows at me and I blush.
"K-Keigo!?" I exclaim flusteredly as I look at my boyfriend.
"So is that an 'I want it but I'm too embarrassed to say so' or 'Yes please I want one' flustered screech?" Keigo asks and I look away from him and I hear him chuckle.
"You're despicable." I say as I still don't look at him as he changes.
"But you know you love it." He states as he steps into the water and I move around in giant tub to give him room. "Aaah~ That feels nice." He says in relief as he leans against the side.
"These are gonna be some good two weeks." I say with a smile as I lean back against the tub as well.

{Time Skip}

"I love not having to take public transportation." I say with a smile as I hold the picnic basket in my hands as I fly beside Keigo who's holding a big blanket in his arms.
"I like getting to see your shirt get flown up by the wind.~" Keigo's says with a smirk and I blush and quickly hold my shirt closer to my chest. "I'm kidding, baby." He states and I huff before I angle downward and lower towards the ground.
"This place right?" I ask him and he nods with a grin. "It's beautiful, Keigo." I say in awe as I notice the peaceful lake.
"Come on. I got the blanket down already." Keigo says with a smile as he pats the place beside as he sits on the giant blanket.
"Pocky?" I ask as I open the basket and pull out a pink box of pocky.
"Sure." He says as he grabs the box, puts one stick in his mouth, and then turns to me with a grin.
"Child." I say with a smirk as I grab the stick and steal a kiss from his lips before I bite the pocky in half. "Did I win?" I ask with a smirk and he grins evilly before he quickly pins me against the blanket and lays on me.
"Flirt." He says as he starts peppering my face with sweet kisses while I lightly giggle at his actions.
We stay like that for a few minutes until he lays beside me as he hugs me close to his chest as he plays with strands of my (h/l) (h/c) hair.
"Keigo. Let's go take a walk or something." I say with a smile as I turn my head to face him and he looks at me before he smiles.
"Okay. Let's get going." He says with a smile as he holds his hand out to me and I gladly take it a he hoists me to my feet.
We walk in a peaceful silence as we walk along the small trail beside the lake.
     "I love just getting away sometimes. Just doing nothing and getting to spend needed relaxing time." I say with a smile as I swing our joined hands while looking at him.
     "I love getting to have more fun with you.~" Keigo coos and I blush a little and look down at our walking feet as something catches my eye.
     "What's that?" I say as I bend down and dust the dirt off of a small box with bird engravings on it.
     "Can I see?" Keigo asks as he takes the box after I hand it to him. "(Y/n)." He says as I look back up at him as he grins at me while he opens the box.
     "What is it, Kei—Oh...my...gosh." I stop as he places the dirt covered box on the ground as he holds a smaller box as he gets down on one knee.
"(Y/n) (L/n), I knew from the moment I met you that you'd be the most special person to ever enter my life. And I was right, you made me smile so much more than if I hadn't met you. Then when you were gone for those five years I could never get you out of my head. Your beautiful (h/c) hair, your bright (e/c) diamonds for eyes, and by gosh, your smile that makes my bad days great. I don't want to lose anymore time being without you, (Y/n). You know I'm not one to do a big speak but I love you with everything that I have. So, please, marry me and make me even happier to be alive." Keigo says with a slightly nervous smile as I cover my mouth in shock as happy tears travel down my cheeks.
"(Y-" he starts but I stop him with a deep, passionate kiss as I rush up to him.
"Of course I'll marry you, Chicken Hawk." I say with a smile as I look into his cheerful golden yellow eyes as he smiles happily before putting the engagement ring on my finger.
"(Y/n) Takami....I love the ring of that." He says with a smile as he puts me in a bridal carry as I laugh lightly.
"It'll be a change I'll be happy to get used to." I say with a smirk as I boop his nose and he grins.
"I'm gonna be marrying the most beautiful woman alive." He says happily as he walks back towards our blanket still laying on the grass.
"Ooo sunset and snacks to end this perfect date?" I ask as I look up at him and he nods happily as he sits down with him spooning me as we face towards the setting sun.
"Perfect sunset with the most perfect fiancée." He coos as he moves a strand of (h/c) hair from my face.
"Keigo?"
"Yeah, (Y/n)?"
"I'm glad I fell in love with you."
"Me too, baby." He says as he kisses the back of my head. "Me too."
