Y/n's pov
Today was the first day of the play. Ever since I woke up this morning I had a weird feeling in my gut, a bad feeling. I was helping Legoshi with the lights as usual.
"You ready", he asked and I nodded my head. I grabbed one of the lights and waited for Louis to come out. As soon as he ran out on stage, I made the light follow him, so did Legoshi. It was hard to stay focus, Louis was truly something beautiful, he really knew how to be the character.
The way he moved, the way he spoke, even the way he took a breath. That the reaper was only for him and him only. After a while the performance was over. The curtains began to close, the performance was a success, but I still had that weird feeling in my stomach, why?
"The first day went great", Legoshi said causing me to nod my head. "I agree, the performance was really good", I replied. Legoshi is a nice guy, but something about him is weird, not in a mean way like a concerning way.
"Hey! hey", Kai shouted as he ran up the stairs. "What is it", Legoshi asked. "It's Louis", he panted, trying to catch his breath.
"Louis passed out"
After Kai said that I rushed to the infirmary. I don't know what made me, go into all panic mode. My legs just moved on there own. Why am I worried about him?
After a while I finally made it to the infirmary. I bursted in to see the some of the club members already there. "Oh, hey y/n", the tiger, Bill said. "Hello", I mumbled as I went to stand by him. "How long has he been out", I asked. "Not too long", he replied, I nodded my head in response. After a while the rest of the club members began to come in. Louis finally began to wake up.
"LOUIS", the female members excalimed, I think one of them pushed me out of the way to get closer to him? "what..", Louis asked as he tried to remember what happened, then it hit him.
"No, what about the audience", he asked. "Don't worry, you collapsed after the curtain was fully dropped", our director answered. "They didn't see anything at all", he added. "Good", Louis sighed.
"Anyway, it's 8:00 pm, the medical team checked you out and turns out your left leg is broken", Bill stated, I told him he should've been more careful. "That means you won't be able to perform tomorrow", Bill stated, kind of harshly. "Bill, don't", The director fussed.
"What! what's the point in hiding the truth", he retorted. "The director is right, have some compassion", a female panther said, causing most of the female to agree. Louis looked uncomfortable as they talked.
Louis's pov

I'm pitted by everyone
I looked around while keeping my head down, my eyes stopped on Y/n. She hadn't spoken a word since I woke up. The look her face, she didn't show sadness nor pity. She was expressionless, was she angry? Why do I care about her feelings towards me?
"So, one broken leg and now I'm helpless", I said as I clenched my hand slowly. "No, it isn't like that", the director insist. "Bill", I said as I looked up at him. "You'll be my replacement", I stated, he gave me a confused look. "For tomorrow's show you'll be Adler", I stated. "Are you sure about that", he excalimed and I nodded my head. "You're the only one who looks similar to me", I stated.
y/n's pov
"Well alright then, we'll discuss this in the morning, we all need some rest", the director said causing all of us to agree. Most of us said goodnight to Louis and began to leave. Before I could fully walk away, someone grabbed my damn tail. I turned around to see Louis, he was quiet. I just sighed and waited till everyone fully left. Once everyone left, he released my tail.
"You know you could've just said"Y/n, stay for a minute", I fussed.
"Grabbing tails are easier",
"Whatever, what do you want", I asked while turning to face him. "What were you thinking", he asked causing me to give him a confused look. "Everyone else were giving me pity, you I can't tell what you were feeling about the situation", he stated. I grabbed a chair in the corner and placed it near his bed, before sitting in it.
"I guess I felt bad", I replied. "Since I knew you hurt your ankle", I added. "But I knew if I tried to stop you, you would've still performed", I sighed. "You are correct", he replied. "Besides I learned how to control my expressions, it's not that hard, when having a dictator as a mom", I mumbled.
"Dictator for a mom", he questioned. "Its nothing", I replied. "Anyway about yesterday", he said, making my ears perk up in alarm. "I'm sorry about biting you", I said. "Why did you freak out", he asked. "Maybe because I bit someone", I answered. "No, you wouldn't freak out that much", he replied. "Look Louis some animals don't like blood, it makes them sick just looking at it", I stated.
"You're a weird one, just like Legoshi", he said. "Thanks, I guess", I replied. We sat there in silence for a minute. Why did he ask me all of this, could've he had wait till tomorrow or some other time? "Why are you asking me all of this", I asked. "Just wanted some company", he mumbled, but I still heard him.
"Aww the great Louis felt lonely~"
"Shut it"
I swear I saw a small smile form on his face for a second, was it just my imagination? "I should get going", I said and stood up. "Goodnight", I said and headed for the door.
"Thank you for the company", he said as my back was turned. "No problem", I said then left. Once I closed the door I pressed my back against it. Ever since I saw his smile, my heart rate started to go faster. I clutched my chest trying to calm myself down.
