Katrina had gotten home around five in the morning and walked to her room. Once she was in her room, she hid the ticket in a safe that she got from helping people in the tailoring shop. She typed in the numbers and after the door opened, she place the ticket in the safe and closed it. Then she proceeded to make her way into the backyard with a notebook in hand just because Sam had invited her to a costume party next Friday didn't mean she forgot about the recording managers. After all it was four weeks away and the song had to be perfect. As she walked through the backdoor, she saw her sisters Valerie and Alice leaning against a tree. Something happened and the look on the girls faces were not looking too good for her. Valerie stood from her spot and walked over to Katrina; Katrina's heart pounded as she was trying to figure out what was going on which also worried her.

"Katrina," says Valerie. "Where have you been?"

"I've been out," says Kat bluntly.

"Really? Out? Out where?"

"Why are you asking me these questions?"

"Because we want to know where you've been," says Alice.

"Why should it concern you?"

"We know you go to that school at night and record songs," answers Valerie.

"You followed me?!"

"And we know Sam had been with you," says Alice.

"But there is something you should know about Sam," Kat looked between the two sisters wondering what they were talking about. "Sam is nothing more than a cheater,"

"How would you know?"

"Because I've seen him," said Valerie as she pulled out her cellphone. "With this girl," Katrina looked at the picture and saw a girl with blonde hair and a crop top. The girl stood by her locker, but Kat still did not believe that Sam was a cheater, why would he do that to her? They had spoken to each other a lot and surely, he would have told her that he was taken instead of kissing her cheek.

"I still don't believe you,"

"Would you like some more proof sweetheart?"

"What more proof do you have?"

"Well, her name is Sophia and she and Sam usually hangout at Starbucks," says Valerie. "If I were you, I'd make sure to double check that before you get your hopes up," After Valerie finished Speaking, she walked into the house leaving Kat standing in the backyard alone. It was hard to believe Sam would cheat like that. Without thinking, she placed her notebook on the table outside and grabbed her bicycle. Getting on, she rode it to Starbucks, her stomach was in knots and she was hoping that what Valerie said wasn't true. Not a moment too soon Kat arrived at the restaurant and saw Sophia and Sam together. Thinking that it was only her imagination she watched from a distance and saw something that she wished she didn't see.

Sophia was working with Valerie and Alice; they were trying to tear Sam and Kat apart. Valerie and Alice were hiding around the corner. When Valerie saw Kat, she texted Sophia immediately. Sophia briefly looked at her phone, then did the unthinkable, she leaned in and kissed Sam on the lips. Katrina gasped and took a step back; Sam was indeed cheating on her and she wasn't happy. As she watched, Sam had looked out the window and saw Katrina getting on her bike. Pushing Sophia away from him, he quickly raced out the restaurant and ran to Kat.

"Kat!" exclaimed Sam.

"Leave me alone Sam!" says Kat as tears appeared in her eyes.

"Please, you must let me explain!"

"No! Don't bother! I can't believe I fell for you!" Kat got on the bike and left Sam standing there with a shocked expression on his face. Kat raced home and once she got home, she went around the back and grabbed her notebook. Then she ran down to her basement and slammed her door shut. Pulling out the pen, Kat started scribbling in her notebook writing a new song, one that she believed would help her win a recording contract.

Sam stood there shocked; how could he have been so stupid? This was the worst day of his life, the one girl he truly did love had took off after she had seen him and Sophia kissing. Anger and hatred had boiled throughout his body as he had hated Sophia for what she had done. But there had to be a way to save their relationship. He was determined to figure it out, then an idea struck him, he hoped that his idea would somehow work. What better way to do it than to talk to some recording managers?
