Ricky POV

The next morning

I woke up to my phone ringing. I grabbed it before Nini could wake up.

"Ricky?"

"A...Abby? Why are you calling me so early."

"It's 10am on a Saturday and you said you would take me on a date to the coffee shop this morning."

"It's 10am already?" We slept that long?

"Yeah it is. I'm at your house, where are you?"

"R-Ricky? Who are you on the phone with?" I turned around and saw Nini sitting up in bed.

"Um, no one it's fine. Go get ready." She grabbed clothes and went into the bathroom.

"Who was that? Are you with someone?"

"What? No, I'm not with anyone."

"Then where are you."

"It doesn't matter. I can't get coffee today. I'm spending it with my family. Sorry, maybe tomorrow?"

"Uh yeah, sure. Okay bye, love you."

"Uh yeah. Bye."

I hung up and went to the drawer with my clothes. I grabbed a shirt and pants. I changed and went downstairs. I decided to take Nini out to breakfast as another apology.

She came downstairs about 5 minutes later. She was in this...

"We are going to breakfast

"We are going to breakfast." She nodded walking to the door grabbing her purse. "And I'm paying."

"Ricky you don't need to do that. You already apologized, you need to stop trying to make things better. I already forgave you."

"But I feel really bad."

"But you shouldn't. Now, if you want to make things better all you have to do is..."

"Yes?"

"Let me pay."

"Nini-"

"No. you don't get to argue. You argue, I go back to disliking you. Got it?"

"Got it."

"Good. Just so I know you won't try an pay, give me your wallet." I grabbed my wallet out of my pocket.

"Fine." I gave it to her.

Nini POV

At the coffee shop

"Oh my god. I remember that. You ruined my project." We both started laughing.

"I didn't think that the bread was moldy. I hadn't eaten that morning and I was hungry. I ate the first thing I saw."

"Why hadn't you eaten?"

"That was the day my mom left. She had to go for work." (A/N she was actually gone for work. Not because she wanted a divorce.)

"Oh yeah. You haven't seen her after that have you?" He shook his head. "Hey." I grabbed his hand. "It's okay. You'll see her again, I promise. Where does she work again?"

"She works with the FBI, for the BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit), she's been traveling to so many different cases that she just hasn't come home. After she closes one case, another one opens. I really miss her."

"Hey it's gonna be okay. I have a feeling you'll be seeing her soon enough."

We sat there finishing our breakfast for about 10 more minutes.

We were about to get up and leave when...

"Ricky?"
