Chapter 23

3 months later (March) - Nini POV

I don't know what happened. We had a good time in LA then Ricky got upset with me. He still talks to me but it's very little, we hangout but it feels like he doesn't want to be there. He's trying to avoid me.

I have school today and I'm gonna try to talk to Ricky. I wanna know why he's trying to avoid me. Maybe he found out what I didn't want to tell him. I only found out a month ago.

I'm walking to school because my moms had to work early and Ricky usually gives me a ride. When I get to school, I'm stopped by Ethan. I thought he was out of this story.

"Hey Nins."

"You aren't allowed to call me that. Now, what do you want?"

"You, me, date. tomorrow."

"That's really funny, no." I tried walking away but he stopped me.

"I'm not asking Nini, I'm telling you we are going on a date tomorrow."

"And I'm telling you, no." I walked around him, going to my locker.

"You'll regret that." He yelled as I walked away. I roller my eyes and opened my locker. I saw Ricky walking by and I caught up with him.

"Ricky! Wait!" He stopped and turned around.

"Hey Nini. What's up?"

"What's up? I want to know why you barely talk to me, we barely hangout, and why it seems like you want to break up with me."

"I can't do this, not right now."

"What? I have a right to know. Did I do something wrong?"

"Yes, you did."

"What was it? What did I do?"

"You should know what you did. Now just, leave me alone." He walked away. What just happened?

I went through the day trying to talk to Ricky, he wouldn't talk to me.

I just want to know what I did wrong.

Ethan kept trying to get me on a date. Does he not realize I'm still technically with Ricky, even if he's not talking to me?

I just want Ethan to leave me alone and Ricky to tell me what I did wrong.
