A/N: I updated some of the previous chapters with pictures! Go check them out!
Merlin II was a wizard. Duh. He wasn't as well-known as his father, but he was every bit as powerful. He was talented with a wand. He was great at changing his staff to a ferocious griffin and making the earth rumble with one thump of the staff. He was also an expert at lighting his hand on fire. No kidding, having magic erupt from his hand--naturally including fire. He was skilled at potions, divination, healing, and herbology. He was even handy with a sword!
For simplicity, let's just call him Merlin.
Now, you may have noticed, he wears dark clothing. Well, he kind of had a shady past, but not to worry. He is one of the most noble people alive. Merlin is "noble enough" (A Series of Unfortunate Events).
Merlin was doing divination. In his tea leaves, there was a sword. But not just any sword. Somehow, the leaves had changed color and were rainbow. It was the Rainbow Sword (duh) of the unicorns. Merlin was worried now. The rainbow sword is only needed to cut though something extremely dark or evil--whether it is a person or the Fabric or Darkness or some black jeans (lets go with the first two--no one likes killer black jeans). If Merlin needed the sword, something bad was going to happen and he knew it.
But then again, he had no other choice than to get the sword and somehow save the world. So, Merlin just sighed and started packing for the Peaceful Prairies.

~Merlin and the Unicorns (it's not exactly accurate, Merlin wasn't dressed like that and he wasn't creating the unicorns, but it was the only image I could find)~
The unicorns seemed nervous. As the narrater, I can't blame them. Merlin II does seem like a evil wannabe version of Merlin I. Thankfully, Merlin II was good with words. He was able to convince them that he was only going to save the world and whatnot. He explained how he was on their side and will return the favor in the future.
The unicorns believed him. But, when Merlin said he needed a unicorn of royal blood the unicorns started looking uneasy all over again. But then he reminded them of the old legend and the purpose of his quest all over again.
The unicorns relented and started to show Merlin to the king.

Neptune nodded, "Sure Sir Merlin. I'll send my son with you along with some of my warriors. I suggest you talk with my son--Sky--maybe at the Steaming Mugs Coffee Shop?"
"Sure thing Lord Neptune. When shall I meet my fellow warriors?" Merlin asked.
"Right away."
Merlin followed King Neptune to the Stone Circle.

"Here are your warriors Sir," Neptune waved his hand in the group of warriors direction.
In the group one unicorn stood out. His fur coat was yellow. The rest were either blue or white. All looked very muscular and ready to fight. I suppose we should introduce them by name. Lightningstar was the unicorn in the yellow coat. He was very powerful and could summon lighting. Clearwave was the clear unicorn. No joke. And what was his superpower? Well invisibility--duh. Bluehoof and a majestic blue unicorn. She could control the rivers and anything involving water. Cloudpuff was a unicorn who looked like a cloud. His fur puffed up so he looked very soft and fluffy. He controlled the weather and skies (and clouds of course).
~Two images for Lightningstar; Comment which one you like!~

Now going back to the time where Merlin pulled out his wand. He hadn't meant to scare to poor fellow. But it was because just then, the only black unicorn in the land of unicorns had showed up.
Now unlike Merlin--who also wore dark clothing--this guy--Blade-- was truly evil. And he was truly powerful. He has every power ever invented. (don't they all?) His appearance didn't do much to help his image. With his glowing red eyes and horn, he was the recipe for a bad situation.
~Blade~
But Merlin was also very powerful. The two caught in a fight while defenseless Sky sat there and watched.
Poor Sky. This two powerful "magicians" battle and the only one who was seriously hurt was Sky. Why got a blast of lightning in his face. His tail caught on fire. Once a sprout of poison ivy sprouted from his legs.
~Time Skip~
When the everything finally got sorted out, Merlin started to heal Sky. Ah poor kid. But I did say Merlin was good at this stuff. After a few moments, Sky was feeling better already!!
Since Sky already got an explanation of what was going on, the group (consisting of Merlin, Sky, and the warriors) set off to find the rainbow sword.
A/N: I am aware that this chapter is a little short, but I'm the queen of short chapters am I right? :) Hope you enjoyed this chapter. Also, along with the pictures, I am going to try to lengthen my past chapters and this one! :) I'll tell ya'll when it's all updated! Thanks for keeping up! ♡♡♡
