Back on the Other Side

A/N: I decided to make this a party scene. But you know this group, they can't go anywhere without trouble! ;) 

A/N: Sorry I had to change this scene to be more fitting for the plot, so just reread the end. 

Chance and his group (Arrow, Ladon, Draco, the Phoenix of Destiny, Elliana, Lilliana, Ava, Bellatrix, Lucas, Oliver, Olivia, Chloe, Ash, Hazel, Leo, Periwinkle) first went back to Crete. 

Why? Because they were all at least one of the following: tired, hungry, thirsty, passed out, very dizzy, wants to puke, and/or craving a double cheeseburger. All of them were craving a double cheeseburger. 

Also the group was out of supplies. They needed food, water, ropes, and whatever else you might need to go on a magic quest that might take ranging from 1 to 1,000,000,000 days!

They decided to relax for the night. Maybe even have a slumber party. 

"Hey guy? How about a slumber party?" asked both Hazel and Arrow at the same time. Both were very into this party business. 

"Sure!"

"YES!!"

"Good Idea!"

"Why didn't I think of that?"

"Your a GOD!"

"I gotta go PEEEEE!!"

"Go for goodness sake!"

Responses varied. 

In the end, they all decided to throw one. Elliana invited Chiron, who politely declined since he was much too wise to go party. 

Once everything got situated and set up, the group started to play some mafia. 

A/N: I don't know if this is the way ya'll play it, but I play it like this. Also, I haven't played this game in a while, so I might be a bit rusty. 

They set out the cards and wrote down all the roles. 

"Hmm... How about 3 Mafias, a doctor, and a detective. The rest will be villagers," Lucas said. He was fast at calculating how many mafias there should be. 

"Oooo! Can I be narrater?" Arrow asked.

"Sure," almost everyone replied. 

"Okie Dokie! It was a stormy night...wait don't we need to pick cards?" Arrow started. 

"Oops!"

They picked their cards. 

"Okay! Now let's get started. It was a stormy night. 3 mafias snuck into Demigod Inc..." Arrow

Thunder boomed and it started to pour. 

"Okay then...Back to the game. There was a CRASH!"

CRASH. Some glass shattered. 

"Is it just me or am I hearing things? Just me? Anyway, we'll just skip this part since I'm getting goosebumps. We're pretty much done with the intro anyway." Arrow shivered. Some arrows were poking out of his tail ready to be launched. 

"Everyone sleep." (in the game)

Everyone closed their eyes. Suddenly 3 hooded figures loomed in to doorway. 

"I remember closing the door..." Ava whimpered. 

When they showed their faces, everyone was shocked to see the faces of Lilliana, Ash, and Bellatrix (who were picked mafia). 

The three of them screamed. 

"I don't think we fight them since we might hurt the real Lilliana, Ash, and Bellatrix," Chloe pointed out. 

"Yes I don't want to end up as a flattened pancake!" Ash yelped. 

"Not the time for humor, Ash!" Leo said. 

"GUYS! Okay what do we do?" Olivia said. She was pretty sensible in that way. 

"Maybe we chain the up, capture them. And force them to turn over the spirits of our friends?" Oliver suggested. 

"THEY HAVE OUR WHAT NOW??" Lilliana, Ash, and Bellatrix yelled. 

"Can't you see? Well I guess ya'll non-magic folks can't but they stole some of your soul, namely your Ka as the Ancient Egyptians called it," Olivia explained on her brother's behalf. 

"Anyway, we should get started," Hazel said very matter-of-factly. I guess she wanted to live... which was normal. 

Bellatrix produced chains from the underworld. Good thing her hooded blob thing didn't do the same. 

Everyone voted Ladon to go distract the three figures--since he had 100 heads. Then Lilliana, Ash, and Bellatrix would go chain them up and demand their spirits back. 

Ladon was doing a pretty good job distracting the figures. All went well until Bellatrix tripped and made a loud BANG noise on the floor. The Bellatrix figure turned toward her. Ladon was vinously trying to seem like more of a threat, but it didn't work. 

Meanwhile Lilliana and Ash successfully tied up their spirits stealers, and got their souls back. 

Bellatrix was still struggling when suddenly a blue light shot the Bellatrix figure and he/she immediately got chained up. 

Everyone turned to look and Periwinkle. 

"Hey I'm not as powerless as you think!!" she complained.

The group had a good laugh, but then Chance had a question.

"Who would do this to us? I mean usually mafia isn't like that..."

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the least likely person smirk evilly. Lilliana.
