The last three days of the School Festival went like a blur, the opening ceremony started with a long procession from the city chapel going back to Sheldon High School. It was led by the school administrator and the entire Student Council, the school fair started on the same day as students' flocks all over the school grounds.

Luna's Class managed to reach the year quota on the third day of the festival, the arcade room that they had set up inside their room was a huge success. The class representative decided to let the rest of the class enjoy the remaining two days on their own much to her delight.

"So, who will be the main event for the year?" Athena asked, snatching the pamphlet in her hand. Every year the showcase is the main event of School Fest and who's participating every year is something everyone's looking forward to. Last year the basketball team did the final act with a dance number.

"Luna, have you read this?"

"Of course not, you snatched it away remember?" she replied annoyingly but Athena just ignored her blankly, putting the small paper in front of her face.

"Wha--"

"The football team will be doing a dance performance, and the main event will be the student council band performance! Oh, my goodness! Did Lexus tell you about the band performance tonight?" Snatching the pamphlet back, she carefully read the words written on it. True enough, the Beast's name was written boldly on it. But seeing the Student Council name scribbled on top as the main event, Luna couldn't care less about the Beast anymore.

"Nah, he must be too busy to remember our existence babe,"

"We should get going now," Athena grabbed her hands, dragging her as they ran towards the gymnasium where the performance would be held.

The gym was quite full when they arrived, Athena growled furiously, the front seat that she was desperately eyeing was now fully occupied. But of course, Athena wouldn't put down without a fight, pulling out her phone from her front pocket, she quickly dialed a number that Luna knew by heart.

"Hey babe, where at the gym now, but Luna and I doesn't have a seat yet. Can you maybe pull some string for us?" Athena was talking animatedly next to her, Luna could barely hear what France was saying on the other line but looking at Athena's satisfied grin, she knew the odd were in their favor.

"Lexus already reserved us a seat on the front,"

The two made their way to the front row and saw two chairs with their name on it. A student handed them a paper bag; he's someone from the council, Luna remembered his face when she went last time.

"What's that?" Athena snatched the bag in her hand.

"I don't know since you snatched it out of my hand before I could even see what's inside,"

"Oh, it's food!"

The bag contained a medium sized Cheetos, two bottle of water, sandwich and candies.

"Who sent those Luna-survival-kit?"

"Survival kit? Really Athena?"

"What? It's true! You need food to survive this three-hour event babe," she winked at her, earning her another eye roll. But she's not wrong though, if their friends won't be performing later Luna will definitely leave the court in two hours and find some food.

Luna scanned the bag, hoping to find a note or something and found a small yellow sticky note inside.

"Oh, it's from Lexus, France, and Toby," a small smile appeared on her lips, noticing the familiar handwriting.

We don't want you ruining the event with your little tantrum if you get hungry!

P.s Share it with Athena! We're watching you!

- your awesome friends (Lexus, France, and Toby)

Oh, the little faith they have in me. She thought, mentally punching each one of them in her head. Sending a quick thank you and good luck messages to the three of them, they waited for the event to starts.

After an hour and a half of watching the freshmen and sophomores, the main performance will be up next. The food that the boys sent them had been long gone and Luna was fighting the urge to leave her seat knowing that the football team would be up next. But seeing the now crowded room, she couldn't find the strength to get up and make her way out of there.

"Ladies and gentlemen! This year special team performance will be from our very own football team! Give it up for Sheldon's Beast!" The entire room erupted with cheers and gleeful chanting; Athena quickly handed him a baseball cap that she accepted gratefully. She was trying her best to hide away from Darius but sitting on the front row of the wild crowd, Luna could only hope that nothing goes wrong.

The sound of Boyfriend by Justin Bieber blasting through the speakers inside the basketball court, the entire football team entered, topless and wearing a pair of dark ripped jeans!

What the!? Luna could feel the ground shaking under her feet as students rushed into the front. No matter how much she hated the team, she couldn't blame anyone for acting like hungry hyena at the sight of seventeen men standing on the stage with their toned muscles and abs in full display.

"Oh, my freaking hell!" Athena was screaming at the top of her lungs; Luna couldn't even bring herself to stop her best friends, just thinking about it exhausting her. Eyeing the stage suspiciously, realizing that Darius Gregory was nowhere to be seen as she sat back on her seat waiting for the performance to be over.

The power went out suddenly, but the music played continuously on the background. A single light pointed into the center of the stage, a half-naked man standing with a single rose in between his white teeth. Luna couldn't shake the chills creeping on her skin at the sight of it, Darius was standing there with his perfectly toned body drenched in sweats with a devilish grin that she knew too well.

Feeling the need to flee from the room, Luna gripped into Athena's arms, but the woman was too engrossed on the show to even care. Suddenly, two large arms lifted her off the ground, dragging her away from her seat before she could even think rationally.

"Athena!" Luna's screamed helplessly that caught her attention, watching Athena's bewildered face coming after her as she got lost in the crowd of people running towards the stage.

"Let me freaking go!" The darkness wasn't helping her either, she couldn't even tell who was holding her captive or where the hell was she being dragged to.

The realization sinks in a little too late as she found herself sitting on a chair in the middle of the stage with the spotlight blinding her. The noise from the crowd piercing her ears harshly as they chanted words that she could barely recognized.

"Luna Eliana Greene," her named sounded foreign as it resonated in the air, fear creeping into her head as the sight of Darius freaking Gregory came into her view. He was holding a microphone on one hand while the other one holds a bouquet of red roses. She could hear the loud thumping of her heart in every step that he takes towards her with the same devilish grin that she had grown to hate.

"You've been my muse for the last five years, that slapped that you gave me back in middle school still gave me butterflies," He looked her straight in the eye as his lips lifted into a familiar smirk, sending chills down Luna's spine. The crowd echoed with "aww" and "Woah", but she didn't care cause the crowd doesn't know what happened on that day, and the reason for that slap. Nor how he claimed that he's in love with her because of that incident. Luna knows him better than anyone in this room because unlike them, she had seen the devil hiding behind his flowery words and grand gestures.

She gripped the side of her chair, trying her hardest not to burst into tears as the memory of that encounter five years ago flooded her mind.

"Luna, will you be my girlfriend?"
