(Tessie POV)

We were on the ice and it was terrible. We were losing very badly, I managed to score a goal which was exciting for our team I guess. As I was skating one of the Hawks knocked me over on the ice. I fell and landed on my wrist. "That's a foul!" I heard my Dad exclaim. I sat up trying to regain my balance on my hockey stick. "Bombay goes down but what is this?! She gets back up!" The man on the loudspeaker says. I skate onwards into the game. Dad tries bringing me in but I brush him off. I go into my position of right winger and I wait until the ref blows the whistle. He drops the puck and Jesse passes it to me. I receive it and I go for the goal but I am pushed down onto the ice. I groan in pain and this time I can't get up. "That's definitely a foul!" Dad exclaims and Jesse comes over and helps me up. I lean on him for support and when I get onto the sidelines I sit down and hiss in pain. Dad comes over and he reaches for my wrist but I hold it back. I shake my head and he sighs. "Can you move it?" He asks and I try, I can but it stings a lot. "Y-yeah but it stings." I wince. "A lot." I say and he nods. "Maybe you should sit this out." He says and I nod. "Conway you're up." Dad says and Charlie nods.

Charlie goes out there and get's pummeled by Adam Banks, our worst enemy. Charlie swings to score but he misses the puck, Charlie comes back and Dad criticizes him. "Nice fan Charlie. Keep swinging. Maybe you'll give 'em a cold." Dad says and Charlie sighs and sits down. We keep watching and I am standing next to Connie, we see Goldberg dive away from the goal and I roll my eyes and facepalm. "I'm so embarrassed." Connie says and I agree with her. "We need a new goalie." Averman says. It was the end of the game and we lost...Big time. We were in the locker room arguing but then Dad came inside and boy did he look pissed.

"Hey, shut up! You guys stink! I thought we came here to play hockey." Dad says and Peter being the smart mouth he is decides to speak up. "You know I knew we forgot something." Averman says and some people laugh but not me, I can tell Dad is extremely pissed. "Oh, you think it's funny? You think losing is funny?" Dad asks and I shrug. "Well, not at first, but once you get the hang of it." I say. "We're the ones out there gettin' our butts kicked." Jesse says. "Yeah, it's not like you coach us or anything. At least we try." Peter says and I look at Dad. "You didn't listen to a word l said. l said, keep your head up. You put your head down. l said, hustle. You went slower! That was the sloppiest playing I've ever seen. Why the hell don't you just listen to me?" Dad asks and I looks down as Jesse speaks up. "Why the hell should we?" Jesse asks. "I don't care. You want to lose, fine. You're the ones who look like idiots out there." Dad says and we all go to the locker room and I pull through my hair frustrated.  I change into my clothes.

I grab my bag and I walk outside and I notice that Dad drove off without me and I sigh in frustration. "Cons!" I exclaim and she turns to me. "Need a ride home?" She questions and I nod. I walk towards her car with her and I see my Dad leave the stadium and I make eye contact with him as I shut the door.

"Do you need the address Mrs. Moreau?" I question. "Not a problem dear, I still remember." Mrs. Moreau says and I nod. I lean my head on the window and I sigh. Once we made it I grabbed my bag and I hopped out of the car. "Thanks Mrs. Moreau! Bye Conns!" I exclaim and Mrs. Moreau and Connie wave at me and they drive off.

I inhale, as I start to walk towards the front door. I exhaled as I opened the door and I walked inside. "What were you thinking?!" Dad shouted. "You could have told me you were leaving!" He shouts and I look down tearfully, but he doesn't notice. "I was so worried do you know that!" Dad exclaims and he kneels down to my level, and he must have noticed the tears falling down my face at a fast pace.

"Oh no, no." He says and he hugs me close. I start to cry on his shoulder. "I'm sorry." Dad says and I start to stop crying. I pull away from him and I wipe my eyes. "Come here." He says and I go and sit on the couch and he sits next to me. "I am so sorry, for everything. I swear on my life, I will make it up to you. One way or another." Dad says and I wipe my eyes and look up to him. "Really?" I question and he nods with a small smile. "Thanks Dad." I say and I hug him and he hugs back.
