(Tessie's POV)

"Boy, this is great." Charlie says from behind me and I look around the huge stadium we were in. We had all of our gear in our bags. "Guys, look, it's the North Stars." Connie says and I look over and she was right. The North Stars were here and they were practicing. "Oh, man." I say in astonishment. "It's Mike Modano!" I exclaim with a huge smile on my face. "What are we doing here?" Charlie questions and I nod in agreement. "It's a little play-offs present." Dad says. "Hey, Gordo!" A player says after many pass by us.

"Gordon Bombay, right?" Mike Modano questions and they shake hands with Dad. "You remember me?" Dad questions. "Sure, from Pee Wees. This guy used to rule in Pee Wees." Mike Modano says and I turn to Dad. "I thought you were a farmer." Basil McRae says and I almost faint. "Actually, I became a lawyer. But I'm coaching Pee Wee now and this is my team, the Ducks. Ducks, this is Basil McRae and Mike Modano." Dad says and we all turn to Dad. "We can see that." Jesse says and I snicker. "You got a kid on the team Gordo?" Mike questions. "Actually yeah. This is my daughter Tessie." Dad says wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Hi." I say kind of nervously. These guys were professionals after all. "What position do you play?" Basil questions. "Right winger." I say proudly. "That's great." Basil says.

"Hey, Ducks! Listen to this guy. He knows what he's talking about. If you ever want a shot, I'll get you a tryout in the minor league clubs." Mike says and Dad smiles. "Thanks." Dad says. "No problem. Hey nice seein' ya. Take it easy." Mike says and he and Basil leave. "All right! Let's have some fun!" Dad exclaims and we go out onto the ice. I saw Connie and Guy skating holding hands and I smiled at them. I then helped them push Lewis while he was in his chair.

We then has races and started skating around, I looked over and I saw my Dad about to shout something to us, but he slipped and I started laughing. "Ready! Set! Go!" Averman shouted and I started racing against Charlie, but I was tackled to the ice and I started laughing again.

We stayed for the game too! I was sat next to Dad and Charlie. "Woo!" I shouted. "Look!" Karp exclaimed and we looked towards the jumbotron and we saw. 'Welcome Gordon Bombay and the Ducks!' We all started cheering. I looked over and I saw Guy take Connie's hand in his. "Aww lovebirds." I say and Connie laughs while turning bright red. The North Stars scored a goal and we all started cheering. "Ay!" All of the Ducks cheer.

(That Night)

I was helping Charlie and Dad cook for Ms. Conway. "You know, I heard the North Stars wore the same underwear...all through the play-offs last year for luck. So I'm doin' the same thing." Charlie says as he brings the tray from the oven towards us. I grimace at his statement. "Ew Charlie." I say and Charlie laughs.

"Hmm. Maybe I should've cooked." Dad says and I snicker. "You know, I'm thinkin' we can all go down to the winter festival tonight." Dad says and Charlie and I look at him. "All four of us?" Charlie questions. "Sure." Dad says and we continue setting the table. "I don't we should, 'cause we got a lot of homework." Charlie says and I nod in agreement realizing his plan.

"You go. With his mom." I say and Charlie nods in agreement. "By yourselves." Charlie says and right as he says that the door slams. "Mmm, smells great!" Ms. Conway says and she walks over to where we were. "Hello." Ms. Conway says with a smile and I see Dad smiling at her. "Go for it." Charlie and I whisper to Dad. Eventually they leave and Charlie and I do our handshake with grins on our faces. "Maybe we can actually be siblings!" Charlie exclaims and I grin. "Maybe!" I say and we laugh.

(Semi-Finals)

I was stood next to Dad as we watched the team play. "The surprising Ducks are still in this game...against the Hornets. Banks moving right in front, stops. He shoots, he scores!" The spokesman says. "Line switch!" Dad shouts and as Adam skates back in I fist bump him and I put my helmet on. When the puck was places I was passed the puck and I started skating, but it was taken and there were players getting tacked and I fell over but got back up, with a lot of struggle.

"It's getting rough out there between the Ducks and the Hornets." The spokesman says and I get the puck and I skate towards the goal. "Here's Tessie Bombay in the slot. She stops, shoots. She scores!" The spokesman says and we reset. "Back it goes to Averman. He shoots! Score!" The spokesman shouts as Averman makes the shot. "The Ducks win it, 5-3 over the Hornets! And now it's on to the semifinals...where the Ducks will face the Cardinals. What a game so far, ladies and gentlemen!" The spokesman says as we high five the Hornets.

Now we went against the Cardinals. I was stood with Connie as we cheered on the others. "The Ducks and the Cardinals! Cardinals with it in their own zone, tryin' to clear it out. Pass to the blue line, intercepted by the Ducks. Here's their star, Adam Banks. Banks has great speed. Right down the middle! Goes around one man with a great move! Steps around another defender! He scores!" The spokesman exclaims and we cheer. "Come on! Come on!" We all shout with grins on our faces.

"Ducks with it again. Here's Averman, now getting it over to Banks. Germaine is right in the slot. Germaine with it! He shoots, he scores! Germaine put it off the goaltender's glove into the net! And that does it! The Ducks have won! Can you it believe it? Now to face the Hawks in the finals." The spokesman says and we all cheer and hug our teammates, but all I could hear was the crowd. "We will we will Quack you!" They cheered and I grinned wildly.

Once we were back in the locker room we were cheering and celebrating, soda spewed everywhere and I started laughing. Suddenly ice started dripping down my back and I gasped but I continued laughing.
