"Hey, get your ass up. It's time to start moving again." You said, kicking Levi to wake him up.

"I'm already awake, so shut up... please." Levi got up and started packing up a few things. His gun, a jacket that he, for the most part, wore tied around his waist, and the little food and water that you had left.

"Couldn't sleep either?" You asked, seeing how tired he looked, though, he always looked as if he had not slept in years, and he probably hadn't. It was hard to get a decent amount of sleep, considering that you always had to keep your guard up and be aware of your surrounding. When you were asleep you were completely vulnerable and you didn't like taking that risk. Neither one of you did.

"Could you be any slower?" Levi asked while you were still equipping yourself and snatched the rest of your things, such as your now-almost useless, on the verge of breaking, wooden bat, a pocketknife, and your small backpack filled with close to nothing. You had already eaten all of your food and had to rely on Levi so you wouldn't starve to death. The nearly empty water bottle was all you had left.

"Levi, I don't need your foolish bickering right now. Start walking without me and I'll catch up with you in a second." After finishing, you eventually caught up with Levi. He walked in front of you and you took notice of a few aspects about him that you hadn't thought to care about until now. He wore a dark green hoodie with a dark grey jacket wrapped around his waist. Black, cargo pants, and a pair of surprisingly clean shoes. His shoes barely had any dirt or mud and with the circumstances of this world, his clothes were unusually clean. Specifically compared to yours.

Your shoes used to be grey, but were now completely stained with mud, filth, blood, and other unknown elements. The walk was rather quiet this time, usually, you had some sort of conversation, but not this time. As you were walking, in the corner of your eye, you saw movement a little further into the woods. It seemed to be a walker, or maybe three and they could become a potential threat if they weren't dealt with immediately.

Getting off the road and leaving Levi behind, you already had your knife ready, though it wasn't necessary this time. There were only two walkers and one of them was already dead, having its head brutally ripped off.

"C'mere, that's it... I'm not going to hurt you." What you had assumed to be the third walker was actually a person. Brown hair... ponytail... glasses...

'Could that be...?'

When the second walker had gotten close enough to the individual, they swept it off-balance and, without any weapons whatsoever, got the walker in some experimental chokehold and twisted its head around until the neck broke, killing it off flawlessly.
