They slept at the Wreck. Each of the Pogues knew they couldn't go to their own houses. Their parents would ask questions, and Lettie knows her mother is probably keeping up with John B's story through the radio, David listening along with her. So, Kiara used her key and let the group of four in the restaurant after close. Lettie had curled into a booth, not really seeing any other option, but, she didn't end up sleeping much. She's too in her head about everything that has to happen during the day, and what could potentially happen if they mess up.

Sitting up, Lettie stretches her arms over her head, slightly less sore than the day before. Slightly. Looking around, Lettie notices Pope and Kiara still sleeping soundly, and Jj standing by the window, looking out of it as if he were standing guard. Maybe he is.

Slowly walking over, her steps get Jj's attention, and he gives her a small smile, "Hey pretty girl," He whispers, careful to not wake up the others, "How'd you sleep?"

When she reaches him, Lettie places a chaste kiss on his lips, intertwining their fingers together as she settles beside the blond, "About as well as expected," She mumbles, leaning her head on the boy's shoulder, her free hand wrapping around his arm, cuddling it as she speaks, "Did you even sleep?"

"A few hours," Jj says, leaning his head on top of Lettie's.

"Are you okay, ensoleillement?" Lettie asks, rubbing his forearm soothingly, "Today won't be easy."

She can hear the smirk in his voice, "Don't tell me you're scared, Moreau," Lettie lifts her head from his shoulder, looking at him and raising her brow, Jj sighs, "I'm a little freaked about John B."

Lettie is about to respond when she hears one of the floorboards creak, turning her head, she sees Pope approaching them, newly awake. Lettie tightens her grip on her boyfriend, still feeling slightly uncomfortable with the boy's unintentional confession from the night before.

"He's pinched for sure, man," Jj says, and Lettie squeezes his hand.

Pope leans though the window they're looking out of, "No," He tiredly mumbles, "They wouldn't still be patrolling if they caught him.

"Let's hope," Jj states.

"You know," Kiara says, making Lettie turn slightly. The brunette wasn't aware that her best friend was awake, "We were in that car, they're probably looking for us, too."

Lettie's eyes widen slightly, "Oh good," Lettie sarcastically drones, "That's great. Outlaws, has a better ring to it than Pogues."

Pope's jaw clenches from where he stands, "Well, if we're gonna be outlaws, we might as well help John B."

Both Lettie and Jj eye the boy as he moves, collecting Jj's bag, "So, find him before they do?" The blond boy wonders. Lettie's eyebrows draw down as she sees Pope grabbing the keys to Jj's bike, "Pope?"

Pope doesn't look behind him as he moves to leave the restaurant, "I'm gonna get gas for the boat."

"Hey," Kiara quietly calls, "You be careful, okay?"

Pope just stares at her for a second before he turns back to Jj and Lettie, "Meet me at the dock at three. Don't be late."

Kiara sends Lettie a pleading look as Pope walks out the door, letting it slam behind him. Lettie motions with her head for the curly headed brunette to follow him. She does, and Lettie releases Jj from her hold, running a tired hand over her face.

"What's that about?" Jj slowly asks, his eyes on the door that Kiara had just walked out of.

Lettie sighs, "You don't want to know, trust me," Lettie walks towards the door when she hears her boyfriend's bike revving up, "Come on, J."
