Forks Washington (Part six)

One year earlier

The last year, Stiles had was really one of the worst in Beacon Hills. Things were beyond chaotic. The Deadpool took at least two months of constant investigating and dodging deathly teenage assassin killers to solve. Surprise, surprise it was all Peter's fault. After that, someone unexpected crashed back into their lives, Theo Raeken or as Stiles likes to refer to him as the lying son of a bitch that ruined his life for six straight months made him think he killed someone got disowned by his best friend, then his best friend almost died, then his dad almost died his girlfriend was accused of murder just like him and a group of insane doctor scientists tried to drive them out of their minds... Theo Raeken. Yeah, it's a long name but one he lived up to, well one he did live up to before he got dragged straight to hell by his dead sister he killed when they were kids in order for him to become a chimera, a freak of supernatural nature.

So when summer break rolled around and it was time for his usual vacation in Forks the relief and happiness Stiles felt was so unbelievable he could barely think straight as he rushed to pack his bags and jump into his Jeep.

Stiles was now sat on his bed in the spare room of the Swan home, Bella was in the room across from him, and apparently, according to Charlie, she wasn't doing so well. Having mood swings, depression stages, she barely ate or spoke, but she was slowly getting back into things with Jacob's help. Unfortunately, he went MIA on her for no reason at all. Stiles guessed it was probably because he shifted, and of course, Stiles being Stiles was definitely going to find out. Charlie also mentioned now that Bella didn't have Jake as some sort of emotional support she was falling back into her nightmares the kind of nightmares Stiles would have where he'd have to scream himself awake.

What Stiles hated more than anything was when Charlie said the whole reason for Bella's downward spiral in life and health was all because of her boyfriend, who just up and left one day, not giving her an explanation or reason. Stiles could understand it though, someone you love with all your heart just disappears on you especially when you needed them the most it'd probably be better to have physical pain than the emotional pain they leave you behind with.

Stiles was so lost in his thoughts, twirling the small wooden triskelion pendant in his hands. The exact one Deaton gave him after telling him he was a spark almost two years ago now. Deaton had told Stiles it was carved from the remaining stump of the Nemeton it held a piece of himself in it after the sacrifices and whenever he did magic having the pendant with him or on him sort of boosted Stiles' effects with magic.

A scream ripped through the small house making Stiles jump up and stumble over his bed before tripping out the door and catching himself on the corner of the opposite wall.

"Bella?" Stiles ran into her room to see his cousin restlessly kicking and viciously turning in her bed still asleep and still screaming the words, 'no, come back' and 'please, please!'

Stiles quickly crouched down at the edge of the bed and gently shook Bella trying to wake her up. Charlie was at the station for a graveyard shift leaving Stiles to deal with Bella and hopefully calm her down.

"Hey, Bells..." Stiles softly spoke, "Bells, come on... wake up!" after another few failed attempts Stiles finally gripped Bella's shoulders and roughly shook her.

Bella shot up into a sitting position her eyes still stinging from the dried tears that stained her flushed out cheeks.

"Hey, hey, you're okay" Stiles whispered rubbing her arm to try and calm her down, Bella dropped her gaze to him and without warning lunged herself into his arms. "Whoa, okay, it's okay everything's okay..."

Stiles murmured calming and reassuring things in her ear for almost ten minutes before Bella finally settled down her breathing slowly falling back to normal as she pulled away and took in a deep breath.
