The Ghost King Goes to Hogwarts

Nikki's POV

"Ugh! Luna am I allowed to just shadow travel us there?" I asked not wanting to step foot in this rain.

"No I don't think so, it would be very suspicious don't you think?" Luna told me. "Come on." She walked out into the rain and I reluctantly followed her. 

"Firs' years! Firs' years! Follow me!" A giant silhouette was waving over all the younger kids, and I wondered if I was supposed to follow, since it was my first year. But then my decision was decided as I saw all of them heading for the lake. Yeah, as if. And I promptly followed Luna to some carriages. 

What startled me was what was in front of the carriages. Thestrals. Thestrals were kind of like black skeleton horses with leathery wings. I liked them, since they were the only animals that weren't scared of me.

"Nikki come on." Luna's airy voice called, breaking me out of my thoughts. I climbed into the carriage and sat next to Luna, and continued concentrating on my anger so people would steer clear. The carriage started moving and I looked in front of us trying to see if I could spot where the school was. Turns out it wasn't that hard. 

"Whoa..." The 'school' was actually not a school. It was a ginormous castle. Like bigger than my father's and he was a god. I could only see the silhouette of it through the rain but I knew that I was never going to on time to anything if that's where I had to go to school at. 

"Zeus seems to be quite angry don't you think?" Luna said absentmindedly, after an extremely loud bang, rang from the clouds.

"Uh oh." I muttered.

"What is it?" Luna asked.

"Well my father kinda broke your dad out of jail to fix my face, and if Zeus found out then I could be in serious trouble." Luna looked surprised for a moments then nodded grimly. We both knew the gods couldn't physically punish one an other, so they take it out on mortals (which is how medusa happened, or Thalia's pine tree, but that's a different subject all together.)

"Slow down!" "Wait!" "Wait for us!!" a couple people shouted from a little behind the carriage. Oh Styx. I forgot to keep being mad, whoops. The door flew open and three people collapsed onto the floor of the carriage. 

Wow, the fates really did hate me.

It was none other then the annoying trio (i decided to call them that so I didn't have to keep calling them 'the other three')They were soaked through and through, with both water and mud. 

"Ah! It's the Death Eater!" Ron yelped and toppled backwards after just standing up.

"Ron!" Hermione hissed, then turned to look at me looking scared, like I was about to explode. She seemed to learn from her mistakes quickly.

 Then I bursted out laughing.

"HAHAHAHA!! Death- HAHAHAHA!! Who in their right mind would want to eat Thanatos!! Oh! I'm dying!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" I continued laughing for a while, then calmed myself down to find the trio were looked seriously unnerved. 

"You... you laugh..." Ron whispered, horrified, which resulted in him getting elbowed by Hermione.

"Yes, it's quite rare though, I think this is the first time I've seen her laugh before... well without Will being there at least." Luna observed, and I felt myself blush a little but I covered it with a look of indifference. I cleared my throat, and pulled myself together.

"Yes, sorry, um what is a-" I stifled a laugh. "Death-Eater?" 

"Oh yeah, you wouldn't know would you? They're the followers of You-Know-Who." Hermione told me, still looking at me concerned.  It took me a moment to figure out she was talking about Voldemort and I nodded.
