Author’s POV
Jungkook went home that day and thought about Tae more than he thought he would. His mysteriousness invaded his thoughts. His curiosity was perplexing. Jungkook thought Tae’s inquisitive personality was like he was a time-traveler.

The next day, Jungkook headed to the temple again, wondering if the boy would be there. He wouldn’t be there again, would he? He thought. But, as he departed the bus, walked up the hill, through the buildings, toward their tree… there he was, lying down on the grass.
He walked over next to Tae and sat down. The sound of him walking through the grass must have alerted Tae to his presence, because his eyes opened, and he looked up at him as he sat down in the grass.
“Hey, again.”
“Hey.”
They sat there for a while, resting together in the shade. Tae had closed his eyes again, soaking in the perfect weather. As Tae was resting, Jungkook snuck a look at him again, admiring his perfect features. Perfect eyelashes, perfect nose, perfect lips…
Tae knew he was being watched. But it was nothing out of the ordinary. All Mer were beautiful. People couldn’t help but notice him when he was walking around the temple. It was why he usually kept to his tree.
But Jungkook didn’t want to sit at the temple again all day. “Do you want to go to Dongmak Beach? It’s not far from here…” he asked. He actually lived not far from there. His family ran a bed and breakfast on a nearby hill.
He looked up at him and smiled, “Sure.” Actually, nearby Dongmak Beach is where Tae usually comes in and out of the water, so he was already familiar with the locale.
They left their tree and started walking toward the beach. It was a long walk, not taking the bus, but Jungkook wanted the time with Tae. They spent their walk talking about things they passed by, hobbies, and other likes and dislikes. It turned out that Jungkook and Tae had quite a bit in common, given their different backgrounds.
