"Welcome. To the Elemental Areas. World. Omega Point. Home. Whatever you chose to call it..."

I sit in the back. Near a girl who would not shut up. I think I should have packed duct tape as well. But no one told me I was going to end up sitting next to a blabber. "I'm Cindy Ale. You?" She says. I didn't realize she was talking to me until I feel her eyes on me. "Skylar Pierre." I say smiling. It took me years to make a friend in the ordinary world. I wonder how long it would take me here. "Aren't you excited! I used to think that element was a myth. But like I'm one of them!" She squeals. "Thought that too." I mumble.

"You look depressed." She says. I have only known Cindy for five minutes and she knows me. Or I just express my feelings to well. "No." I answer. I force a smile on my face and I sit up straight trying to look excited. But then my excitement fades. I look at Cindy. She has green eyes and red hair. Like my father described she's probably a nature. Most natures have that look. I'm probably a sky. My names Skylar is fits. A smirk climbs up my face but it's soon whipped off as soon as the doors are flung open. A boy comes in. All heads turn. He just interrupt the speech. Not like anyone was listening anyways. "Sorry!" He yells. There's a slight wave of whispers. I don't know what they're saying until Cindy says it herself. "Damn that's boy is hot. I would like him in my bed anytime." She whispers to me.

"I don't like him." I whisper back. She looks at me surprised. It's either she's surprised that I spoke a full sentence to her or that I didn't like his charms. "Why?" She asks. Um... I don't like it? Why else. I just shrug in response. Why? He doesn't look like a type I would like. Besides I'm not the flirty type. So now I cross myself off the sky list. I'm definitely not a sky. I'm not the flirtatious kind. And neither am I fire, I don't have the looks. Probably not water... I can't be that special. I just like to be invisible. The water element probably likes to stand out. I lose myself in my thought... Like what I usually do. I don't wake up until Cindy steps on my foot. I jerk my foot back only to realize in the other side of me the seat is now taken. Oh would you look at that... Just my luck. The late boy comes right near me. Out of all the seats. I want to yell at him.

"You're late." The lady on the stage yells to the mic. I think she's referring to the boy next to me. "Sorry ma'am." He says with a fake grin I his face. I move my seat closer to Cindy. Hopefully no one notices. I take a side view of the boy. He has dark brown hair. His eyes are hazel. He has a nice complexion in him. His body looks built and well formed. But not enough to give me a hint that he fights or wrestles. Just enough to say that he works out. "Underneath that shirt he probably has abs." Cindy whisper squeal. "Or fat blubber begging to form." I Mumble trying to get a horrible look in him.

"What's you name?" I bring my attention to the lady. "Asher!" The boy yells. Of course he has to yell she's across the large room. It's the size of 3 large houses combined.

"Do you know the gentlemen and the young lady next to you?" The lady asks. She places the microphone near her mouth as if we could not hear her clearly in the back. I look at the gentleman next to him. He has long black hair. He also looks fit. These two must be fire. My thought goes. "Just him." Asher points. Something tells me I should stay away from this Asher dude. I don't like him. He ruins the vibe around me. "Kyle!" The boy says. Everyone is 18 here. So these two are 18 as well.

"Bitch." I hear Asher mumble. Defiantly stay away from him. My mind gives an alert sign. I wish I could build a wall between us I do not want to be any closer to him. I feel Cindy pinch my hand and when I look up everyone's attention is towards me. "Your name darling." The lady said. What's your name? I wanted to ask.

"Skylar." I say. I'm pretty sure she didn't hear me. "What is it?" She asks again. Yup she didn't hear me.

"Skylar." I repeat louder. The lady shakes her head as if she couldn't hear me. "Skylar!" Cindy yells "her name is Skylar!" The attention is shift towards Cindy. Why me? Why is it always me being part of the attention. I don't want this. I wanted to sink in my chair and pretend I was never here. Out of all the empty seats you decide to sit here? I should sit in the front next time. He looks like the type who would sit in the back.

"And what's your name?" The lady asks.

"Cindy!" She yells. I wince as her voice echoes the room. Now everyone knows our name. My name. I don't want to know everyone. It's like I'm some celebrity. They know me but I have no clue who they are. I don't want... I don't want to be a celebrity. I just want to be the girl in the back who just... Invisible.

"Nice to meet you four. I hope I never see you in my office." Now the lady refers to me as a bad person. My stomach goes sick. First intention is that I'll be sitting in there offices? That's sweet. I don't have anything that gives me that impression. I just think. That's all I do if that against the rules than I might as well live in your office.

"Now, I am Mrs. Gravel. I am head of the Elemental Area. If there are any problems they are all reported to me. These," she says pointing to the adults I the back. "Are your teachers or your leaders what ever you prefer to call them. You shall be introduced to them tomorrow. That's when you'll be starting classes." Groans and boos escape people's lips. I just sit there smiling being the only freak in this. "I hate this already." I hear Cindy say.

"Listen! Elements!" Mrs. Gravel calls for us to shut up. "Today we will figure out the type you are." Gasps fill the room. "And! And for now you will be living in our dorms!" She try's to speak over the crowd raising her voice. "Since we all are at random you may choose who you may spend the night with. No opposite genders!" She says staring at Asher. Did Mrs. Gravel suspect Asher to live with a girl? Well when you look at him...

Cindy's hand grabs my arm. "Come on. You're my partner." I stare at her. That was easy? Since everyone was new here I didn't suspect people to go grab a partner out of no where. For me I would like to know the person. But then again I only had 10 minutes with Cindy that's enough to know her name.
