Noel nods still not looking at me. I leave bumping into a man holding a bottle in his hand. He whirls around me as I try to move. "I have twenty oval shape things that have liquid in them-bottle! Ha! I'll name my son that! My daughter beer and my other son Wine. Do you like that young person?" The man slurs. He holds the bottle throwing it around the air. He's drunk... Over drunk. This man needs the cemetery.
"No. It's stupid. Please move." It's no use, the man has a brick head. I move behind him trying to move fast but the man catches up. "Wait!" He slurs falling in front of me. He gets up laughing. "You didn't solve my math book!"
"Ten." I quickly say. Getting to the door. I need to get out.
"I have twenty bottles in one hand. One hundred and a thousand in the other. What do I have?" The man says holding the one bottle he has with both of his shaking hands. I look behind him finding the path to the door is also full. I can't get through one guy now I won't get through a whole dozen of the same math book people. "Large hands, a drinking problem and one bottle." I say turning the other way to go through the other door that leads to the outside. I don't care where these doors lead me. I just need out.
"Wait! You need to solve my drug-" I turn around to cut him off.
"Here's a solution." A say hitting him in the face. The man falls. I am not surprise. The man has enough booze that blowing on him causes him to knock out. Now, hitting him probably killed him. When I want to leave with no attention I get half of the rooms attention. I turn around leaving for the door until a hand grabs my arm. My heart races and I'm about to fall. Probably look like the man and his bottles.
I close my eyes turning around. "It's not my fault I could not bare it!" I yell quickly. When I got no reply I slowly open my eyes to find Asher smirking. I let out the breath that I was holding in. At this moment I wanted to hug him. Probably thank him for letting it be him and no one else that half my arm. But then I would look weird. Plus, his girl friends and Noel could have seen me. So instead I control my urge and just kept my strait face. "Don't scare me like that." I add. Though I know that he wouldn't understand.
"All exits are full. You'll have to wait to leave, love." Asher says he grins and a small smile climbs up my face. Though immediately I wanted to wipe it off. "So how's ordinary week."
"If I bothered your pool game you can go back. I'll be fine." I quickly say as I sit down. He's quiet for a t moment before his gleaming eyes look deeply into mine. Oh no, not this. I quickly break the eye contact before I do something stupid. I look around the room to find the blind fine and I smile. No leaving yet.
"I'll go if you join me." He says taking out his hand for me to hold. I didn't slip my hands into his like what I didn't to Cameron. Instead I stared at hit. Finding it fascinating. So great I was so close to say: wow you have a hand? "I don't know how to play pool." I say. Hoping it to be an excuse for me not to tempt myself in holding his hand. I turn around finding Noel on the other side staring at me... Uh-oh. "My favorite part of pool is when you teach someone else how to play." He whispers to me wrapping his arms around my waist. "Not winning?" I question with a small frown on my face. Which will turn into a smile soon.
"Teaching a girl like you is a great win." He whispers under my ear.
"Your drunk." I say moving my head to the side so my eats away from his lips. But I stand corrected when his soft lips touch my neck. I gasp a sharp intake of the air around me. "No. Just had one drink after the game. One before the game too."
"And some in the middle of the game?" I ask.
"That keeps me out of focus, love." He softly says. "So." He says removing his arms away from mine and sitting in the chair next to mine. For some reason I still wanted his arms around me. I curse my mind for thinking so foolishly. But reward it for controlling it's wanting.
