Can You Hear Me?

I know we don't talk anymore, its a shame we don't, in fact I would love to go back to when we used to: all the times where you made me laugh and help me through the pain, all the times where I told you to stay hydrated and make sure you're okay. I keep seeing your name everywhere - in cold letters that bury deep under my skin- it burns like frostbite as I remember all of the past days and how we soon forgot how to converse.

I know you're doing good, but if you ever needed to talk to someone who understood your pain, I'm always here, in the shadows waiting for your response. And if not, then that's okay, good times always come to an end eventually that's just life. Just stay hydrated, know that it will be okay one day, and I'm here if you need anything. Like old times, whispering away from the daylight, afraid to show their faces or any sign of life.
